Very nice stay. property is definitely dated, but otherwise very nice. Sizable, comfortable, all enjoyed our stay very much. Good proximity to the slope. Everything functioned well.
Such a cozy spot in Vail, with a perfect location right off the Born Free run and within walking distance of Lionshead Village. It was perfect for our group. Heather communicated everything so clearly, making for a seamless arrival, stay, and departure. Highly recommend!
Heather was very welcoming! The house was perfect for our family of 10. It had everything we needed. Cozy fireplace, sleds, easy access to the Eagle Bahn Gondola for the skiers. Vail Public Library is an easy walk and a good activity to do with the little kids. Free bus is a short walk and takes you anywhere. So many memories made! Thank you Heather for your hospitality!
Cosy comfortable chalet with super comfy beds and a fabulous yard which kept the children occupied before and after skiing . could ski back home after skiing Having an open wood fire was a bonus . We had 6 adults and 4 children stay and all agree it was fabulous

Thank you so much for your kind words! We so enjoyed having you and your family at the Chalet and would welcome you back anytime!
Not enough can be said about what a wonderful stay we had at this chalet in Vail. The home is warmly cozy and perfectly functional for our family of 8, although the beds can accommodate 10. The public areas are comfortably appointed with adaptable conversational circles. Windows provide lovely views of the gorgeous scenery. The kitchen is generously stocked with both equipment & staples, & Heather, our exceptional host, went beyond the call of duty to provide what we needed. The bedrooms are wonderfully laid out so that couples have privacy & kids have enough--not too much--independance in a loft. The separate suite is perfect for working members of our group, providing enough distance as needed, yet closeness to our family reunion. Bathrooms are sufficient for a group of our size & would be for 10 people. The Jacuzzi is a treat. There is a complete in-house laundry. A great deck offers a grill to complete this pleasant home-away-from-home, and sufficient private parking for up to 4 vehicles. The slopes are within easy walking distance, truly a blessing considering the limited & expensive public parking. Despite the warm weather, the slopes were still functional & allowed our newer skiers all to improve their skills. The greatest of all is Heather, our host. She is warmly welcoming, always cheerfully responsive and flexible. We are truly gratefully to her for her generous support and for providing this wonderful space for our enjoyment. I hope we can return soon.
Our family enjoyed their stay at this property. It is a short walk to the slope and everything in the home was as advertised. Heather was very helpful and communicated with us for an easy arrival and departure
I have nothing but great things to say about Heather and the Chalet! This is the 4th summer that I've stayed at the Chalet with my wife and 4 kids, and I'm looking forward to coming back again next year. The highest praise I can give Heather and the warmth of her home is that staying here has become a core memory for our young family, and an annual tradition. There are a lot mountain homes you can rent, but you will not find one with as gracious of a host as Heather, as good of a location, or as much of warmth and love permeating the walls! After 4 reviews I have little left to say, that I haven't said in previously, but as always 5/5 stars! You won't regret staying here!
This was a great property just a short walk to the slopes in Lionshead. The house is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner throughout the week. The communication with the host was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
The place was clean and everything was as expected. Great location and very friendly property manager with excellent communication. Our stay was pleasant and we would not hesitate to stay again.
My family stayed at the Chalet for 5 nights and loved it! The Chalet has everything you need, a exceptional fireplace, plenty of room, and close proximity to Lionshead Village. Heather is a exceptional host! I would highly recommend staying here!!
We had an amazing family Christmas/new years vacation to the chalet! The snow was coming down and the chalet was cozy, warm, and the perfect place to build memories with our family. Heather is a wonderful host and is always great at communicating. We love Vail, and the Chalet makes all the difference.
Perfect property and location for our two family party!
This charming property is just steps away from the ski trail to Lionshead, providing easy access to and from skiing. You can also easily walk to Lionshead and on into the main village of Vail. The house is comfortably equipped for a party of 10 and has just what you need to make your stay enjoyable. The host was super responsive in communications and clearly wants to make your stay perfect. We very much enjoyed our trip and hope to return soon.
Great location. Easy access to the slopes. Heather was wonderful and responded to all questions and needs. We definitely go back. We’re in Vail.
