Thanks for leaving everything so wonderful at the cabin! Tell your friends about us so that we can stay open for wonderful guests like you. See you again soon!
Peaceful, relaxing property. I love sitting next to the wood burning stove and watching the waves. The provided bird seed led to losing track of time while watching the birds and squirrels take turns in the feeder. The bicycles, canoe, and kayaks gave us different ways to explore.

Just WOW!!! What a great place to go for a nice getaway. From the first drive up to the opening of the front door where there is the most wonderful fragrance ever into a very peaceful stay while enjoying the campfire, it was the most enjoyable, relaxing experience. Very highly recommend.

Thank you for the stars! I am so glad you love taking a dip into the lake like we do. An occasional bump from a pollywog or perch is welcomed. Hats off to nature‘s wee beasts and sweet summertime!
We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The area is quiet, peaceful, friendly. We loved the kayaks and fire pit. Just the right spot to make family memories!
I just will not stay there again. I had a great time when my daughter and hubby and grandkids came up sat for a few hours.

Wow, I answered all the many texts that you sent to me. A purse was left at the cabin and I mailed it to you instantly for your granddaughter. You even left me a $35 tip? Not sure why the low score. You were so excited to fish and have some away time. When you arrived at the cabin and called me so excited and told me you loved the place is now confusing. I haven’t heard from you… I hope you received the purse I mailed at no charge to you.
I always try to "kidnap" my husband for his birthday just to relax and getaway... This was the perfect place for that.We did some fishing and watched the birds and relaxed in the cabin when it was too hot outside. Would definitely go again

So glad you chose us! Come again soon when you want to run away again!
This is our 34th time to stay at this quaint little cabin that is within walking distance to the lake. The owners have fantastic communication and we love all the kayaks, fishing poles, and canoes provided.
I’m glad you guys had a great stay and a successful fishing trip. Let me know if there is something we can do to improve our cabin. I try to honor early arrivals and late stays when possible. I am glad I was able to do that for you. Sorry about the weather, I wish I could control the weather. Come again soon..

What do an Aggie and a science teacher have in common? A love and appreciation of nature. We are excited owners who want to provide you with a step back in time. A stay in a vintage cabin, at the base of a stand of pines, on a pristine lake. Sounds like our kind of place and we want to share that with you.
Why they chose this property
Cozy, vintage, clean! What more would you want? Singing birds, scampering squirrels and the breezes whistling through the pines. More? His and her bikes, fishing kayaks and a canoe all free of charge. Enjoy a sunrise view from your private pier. Or, jump in for a cooling swim and finish with snacks in your screened in cabana. Crappie and Bass will fear you as you fish from the pier or 11’, 300 lb limit kayaks. Or, simply tour the lake and soak in the rays aboard one of the two kayaks or share the rowing in the canoe Not enough fun? Jump on a ladies pearl pink Panama Jack bike or men’s black Schwinn bike and ride part or all of the 10 mile waterfront oil top road around the lake. Stop off at the beach area $3/person for a sandy roped off swim. End the evening with a cookout on the grill, s’mores in the fire pit or treat yourself to the “Taste of Italy” waterfront restaurant 1/2 mile away. The owners are from Macedonia and prepare authentic Southeastern European cuisine complete with homemade rolls and Cannolis for dessert. Bring your own wine.
