COMPLETELY RENOVATED FOR 2020 SEASON!! New for 2020 was a 3rd bathroom, with all 3 bathrooms completely renovated. We are new owners, having purchased this home in April 2019, and completed extensive renovations for the 2020 season. See the 5 star reviews under our ownership. Our home features a beautiful infinity pool which cascades in to a salt water lake. Your rental will include the use of a 21 foot hurricane power boat with 115HP outboard motor for fantastic adventures in the lake, canals, Caloosahatchee River which leads to the Gulf of Mexico. Look for the playful dolphins chasing your wake, shy manatees, and unique Florida bird species as you enjoy the many canals and waterways. The required boat fee is stated as an extra under property fees. Full boat orientation will be provided. Boat rental in the area is around $1200, which makes the use of the boat a great value!

Cape Escape includes a large 65 inch flat screen Roku Smart TV with cable and a DVD player in the living room and another 55 inch flat screen Roku Smart TV with cable in the game room. Each of the 4 bedrooms includes a 43 inch flat screen smart TV with cable. One of the TVs includes a wireless cable box that we can be moved to the outside shelf on the lanai to view from the patio or pool. Wireless broadband internet access is also provided. The kitchen is equipped with the usual kitchen appliances, dishwasher microwave, coffee pot, and Keurig. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee while you watch the sun rise over Thunderbird Lake. Ceiling fans and central air-conditioning throughout offer a comfortable reprieve from the sun. The master suite features a huge en-suite bathroom with a huge walk in shower, double sinks, separate toilet room, and a built-in closet. Sliding doors to the lanai provide a beautiful view of the pool and lake and offer easy access to the pool for a morning swim. High chair, linens, and bath/pool towels are provided.

Our game room features an 8 foot slate pool table, along with a ping pong topper. Imagine enjoying a friendly game while overlooking the infinity pool and lake! If pool or ping pong is not your game we have a Wii console to test your skills in the video game variety. Newest addition to the game room is a 60-in-1 multicade arcade machine that plays all of your favorite arcade classics from the 80s, including Ms Pacman, Galaga, and Donkey Kong.

If the powerboat is not your speed, we also have added 4 stand up paddleboards for your use. The lakefront location is the most ideal place in Cape Coral for paddleboarding.

The general process for the boat depends on your boating experience. Experienced boaters can get a “Basic” handover. To be considered for the “Basic” handover, the boat operator must have a minimum of 2 years experience operating a similar boat (21 foot outboard with throttle). During the “Basic” handover our boat captain meets you at the house the morning after your arrival and spends about an hour with you going through the boat controls, boat lift, and local navigation, which is included in the rental price. If you do not have sufficient boating experience to meet the "Basic" handover, then extra training will be required if you wish to use the boat. We will set up the extra training with a boat captain with you, with payment made directly to boat captain for the extra training.

Note that the base rates are set up for groups up to 4 total people. If your reservation is for more than 4 people, an "extra person fee" will be included and automatically calculated in your booking total. This is set up this way to provide a "discount" to smaller groups as we are popular with couples as well as larger families!
