Roomy, great place for kids to walk and play in the yard. Feed the horses, Bill and Pepper like carrots or apples. If rainey the game room is large enough to play games and watch TV. The driveway is private so you can walk at your leisure or walk your pet. Great place to ride bikes. Access to Pigeon River, fish or hangout.
Local hiking at Cosby Park, Big Creek Ranger Station or just rock on the front porch. Newly added fire pit, just bring your firewood to enjoy.

Nice family getaway

We stayed for two nights just for a quick family get away. The property was clean and well cared for. We all loved the game room and being able to play corn hole without being cold outside.

Very clean and enjoyable stay

We had a family group of 13 people.There was plenty of room to sleep as long as the kids slept on the sleeper sofas. The rental was clean and the beds were comfortable.The owners were very willing to help and made sure we were taking care of.

Family Vacation

I would highly recommend this home to anyone. I would suggest if you have more than 8-10 people that are not couples, make sure you rent the cabin located on the property as well. Otherwise we all had a great visit will plan to go back.

Beautiful venue. Great host.

Greeted by horses. Amazing view of the mountains. Easy to find. Comfortable beds. Huge game room. We were delighted. We rented the cabin also and it is great. Nephew brought a camper trailer and our host parked him in a covered shed near the barn. You will love this place.

Nice Christmas getaway

This Property is very nice and located in the country. The Nearest Restaurants a little ways from house. Appliances, Internet, and beds were all good. Game room was nice for the kids and family. TV doesn’t have all the Sports channels, but you can stream from these from your phone.

It was ok but we was told we could check in at 3:00pm. We got to the house and was told we needed to go somewhere for an hour or two so they could clean it up. We had two babies that under the age of one that was just ready to get out of the car and now had to ride for two more hours.

Lovely property

This property is absolutely amazing! Stunning views and a very relaxing stay. We spent one day at pigeon forge, the drive to and from was easy. It was very nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. The horses were super friendly and the kids loved getting to pet them and feed them carrots. The owner, Daniel, is super friendly and helpful! He came by and checked on us multiple times and it was nice getting to know him as well. The towels and bed linens and pillows were the nicest, softest and most comfortable we have had in all the VRBO’s we have stayed at. All of the beds were comfortable so it allowed for very restful nights. We had 8 staying and never ran out of hot water for showers. I can’t say enough good about this property! It was an amazing stay!

STOP LOOKING! THIS HOME IS PERFECT!!!

We are a family of 8 and had plenty of room no one felt like they were on top of each other. The game room was a family favorite way to end each night laughing and enjoying our time together. Walmart is like a 10 min drive. So even though you feel in middle of nowhere town is pretty close. Also the owner...AMAZING! So nice, and just a phone call away if you need him, but not on top of you. He was great!! Home is very clean and stocked. Everything your gonna need right at your fingertips with an beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains!!! You would never regret staying here!!! Will definitely come back!

OUTSTANDING Family Gathering Location

The property is absolutely amazing! We felt right at home. We enjoyed the space to spread out or gather together. We came during Christmas, and the house had a tree and mantle decor. We enjoyed feeding the horses during our first few days. The kiddos thought this was a huge perk.

Breathtaking

This property has all the country feel. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. The house is older but well taken care of. Its spacious and very cozy. We had 14 people in our family to stay and we were all comfortable. Horses were a big bonus! This is a beautiful home.

The break we all needed

Pictures are deceiving

We were told we could check in at 12 noon, then the night before it changed to 2 pm due to the cleaning crew which was fine. At 1:44 pm i nessaged the owner and ask for the code to get in and it was 2:47 when he finally messaged back. Every full bathroom in the house and the cottage had stairs, every bedroom had steps or stairs except the cottage. The listing should have stated that thus house is not accessible for handicap people. My elderely parents that use walkers had a very difficult time getting into the bathrooms, the toilets were very low and no handicap bars at all in the bathrooms or the showers. My parents had to stay at the cottage instead of the house with their family and they were afraid to shower without the stability of bars. We found dead bugs in kitchen drawers, silverwear that had to be rewashed and the locks on the doors were very difficult to turn. The home once had an inground pool but has been covered with plywood which seemed unsafe. Only 2 tvs in the house and their was really not a family room. The furniture was in the basement bedroom which made it difficult to have family time. All in all i would say the owner needs to be more specific with his description of the home and possibly upgrade alot of the house.

Great place!

We were in town for our daughters wedding. Plenty of room for our extended family. We had the cottage and the house and it was nice and Peaceful. Away from the hustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but close enough to visit. Beautiful views. The horses were sweet.

Mountain Serenity

Our family vacay in the Ford’s VRBO nestled between fields in the mountains was amazing. The kids enjoyed the freedom outside, the animals and the provided game room. Mr Ford was an amazing host and even came by to check on us after a family member had a medical emergency. I appreciate his help tremendously. This is a great location to book if rest and relaxation is what you need!

Great place!

We enjoyed being close to attractions but able to get away and enjoy a peaceful place. The view is amazing, the house is nice with lots of room, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful! Kids loved the horses! Would highly recommend and will stay here again when in the area!

Beautiful, peaceful home

My family really enjoyed their stay in the main house. It was spacious and had everything they needed. My husband and I also enjoyed our stay in the cottage, also well stocked and clean. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs. They loved being able to explore the big yard. We all loved the horses, too. My only suggestion would be to include the code to the cottage with check in instructions if the cottage is also being rented, or maybe leave cottage check in instructions in the main house. I did not have this ahead of time and had to wait to hear back from the owner.

This home built by my Father. My wife and I bought in 2018 with the idea to rent to families traveling or vacationing. Enjoy meeting new people. The Cottage can be added with main house or separately. Rented as overflow when needed for larger groups. Sleeps 4 with 1 king, 1 queen sofa sleeper, tv, wifi, kitchen, full bath.
