This cozy, ground floor, corner 1 bedroom 1 bath Cottonwood Condominium is located directly on the Sun Valley Resort property. The living area has a gas fireplace, a 36-inch flat-screen TV with streaming/cable, and access to a very large deck that overlooks a beautiful pond. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a dining table for 4. The bedroom has a king bed and access to a full-size bath with a single vanity sink and tub/shower combo. The condo offers a stack washer/dryer and access to the Sun Valley community pool, hot tub, tennis, and golf.

Complex Features: The Cottonwood Condominiums are located on Dollar Road just across from the Sun Valley Village. The Sun Valley Pavilion is about two blocks away. This is the best location for convenient access to indoor and outdoor ice-skating rinks, pools, hot tubs, shops, and meeting facilities. The location is known for its privacy and tranquility, featuring a blend of comfort, warmth, and scenery. Landscaping includes ponds and streams on the grounds. Bald Mountain ski lifts are 1.5 miles away and Dollar Mountain ski lifts are 0.5 miles away. Both ski lifts and downtown Ketchum are easily reachable by the Mountain Rides shuttle that stops at the entrance to the Cottonwoods. In the summer the bike path provides miles of scenic biking or walking enjoyment.

Sun Valley Resort Amenities: A maximum of 5 amenities passes will be issued per reservation. The Sun Valley Inn Pool is available. The workout room, sauna, hot tub, and Lodge pool are NOT included. During peak summer season only, the amenities pass also includes access to the Olympic and kids’ pools, priority tee times, hotel rate for golf, and a discount on tennis, gun club, and trail rides. Alpine Lodging cannot guarantee amenities will be open as resort policies can change at any time.

Great unit, disappointing outside maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the fourth time we have stayed in this unit. We love the setup, we appreciate all the brightness of the rooms with all the windows, great kitchen. It even has a humidifier. The last two years we are disappointed with the lack of care regarding the iced up walkways. We know it is part of the seasonal reality but there is no shovel or icemelt, no response from repeated calls to Sun Valley maintenance. It is a real safety hazard on the walkways immediately near the entrance. Since there was not any response from any of the people we were told to call, we are writing this review in hopes the owners will see it and take appropriate actions. Thank you.

Perfect location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well designed simple layout, gave 2 of us the ability to do some virtual work at a separate table and desk while visiting. Good wifi. Location can't be beat. Easy to walk to the Lodge and all the shops and restaurants at the resort. Bus stop extremely close to the front door, that can take you anywhere in Ketchum or Hailey. We also walked to Dollar mountain a number of times (about 15-20 minutes walk). Kitchen is very well equipped for meals of any type. Bed and living room furniture very comfortable. Locker for ski equipment.

Cute Condo

I've stayed at this condo 3 times. I love the location and that it is clean and comfortable to stay there. I love sitting on the nice patio to read and I appreciate the king size bed. I appreciate that there is a way to watch live tv. Some of the other condos I've stayed in just have streaming, so I would have missed watching the U.S. open tennis tournament if I hadn't been at this condo. Thank you to the owners!
