The house is situated in the middle of the 12 kilometer Mae Rampung Beach. The beach is lined with trees for shade and hosts numerous seafood restaurants, western food outlets, an Indian, a German and a Mexican restaurant along with a sprinkling of bars. Despite this the beach is still in the early days of development and offers quiet enjoyment of the sea views especially midweek. It is 20 minutes drive from Rayong City Centre with all shopping malls and supermarkets expected of a provincial capital. In the other direction it is five minutes from the National Park with a pleasant walkway and ten minutes from Ban Pae where boats can take you to the delightful island of Koh Samet. In Ban Pae you can also find a Tesco supermarket, a Makro and the local market full of freshly caught seafood. There is also an Aquarium to delight the children.
