Our home is conveniently located about 4 blocks to Lake Michigan and the beach. It is also about 4 blocks to the wooden kids park and downtown. The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It sleeps 8 guests. Everything you may possibly need can be found in our cottage for a comfortable stay. We have a washer and drier. There are 2 porches to relax on and yard/outdoor furniture. Happy booking.

Charming house located close to everything. We really enjoyed the proximity to beach for sunsets. Neighborhood was quiet and very bicycle friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Very cute house that’s within walking distance to the lake. The house was very clean too. I would have liked an updated kitchen but it was fine. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very clean and functional. We enjoyed our time together. Neighborhood very nice and quiet. A little too far for our foursome to walk to beach but there was ample parking at beaches. Nice having beach towels in house. I communicated with owner in advance and while there and she always answered me quickly. Thanks for nice short vacation.

The house was spotless, comfortable and well stocked. There was plenty of room for six people in the bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The host was available when we sent her a message and was quick to respond. South Haven is a beautiful place to visit and this house made it special for all of us.

House was in a great location with good off-street parking. Nice outdoor space. A/C is augmented for the upstairs bedrooms with a window unit in one of the rooms - the second room tended to be a bit warm overnight. Well equipped kitchen. Nice bathrooms. Overall great place to stay.

Great option with a first floor bedroom and a nice shaded porch as well as an enclosed one. 15 minute walk to downtown or Kids' Corner/South Beach. Don't forget beach accessories are available in the shed - key is hanging near the door.

Our stay here was so nice! The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our trip to South Haven. The boys (4 and 6 years old) loved the toys and books in the kids room, and the screened-in west-facing porch was so nice for morning coffee or afternoon book reading (or naps). We walked to and from several points of interest in the area (south beach pier, the Kids Corner playground, and Clementine's). Joanna the host was very responsive via text as well. All in all it was very pleasant, and given the opportunity we would stay again!

We really liked staying at this house in South Haven. Clean, spacious, close to town, cute neighborhood to walk in. I spent way too long trying to find the upstairs bathroom but it was just hidden behind the primary bedroom door. If you’re a sleeper who’s sensitive to light, bring a sleep mask because there are some high-up windows that don’t have curtains. On the plus side, we were up with the sun and ready for a beach walk! We’d stay here again!

The house was very clean. The front enclosed porch is a nice place to sit and chat in the morning but it really heats up from the sun in the afternoon. The shed provided very appreciated chairs for the beach. This house would be great for a family but for those of us who are older the walk to the beach is not close. It is very close if you drive but walking to see a sunset is a good walk, not sure who makes the walk in 11 minutes. The bathroom on the main floor is unusual as it is to the side of the laundry room and you have to close the door to the laundry room when you are using the bathroom. There is no actual door to the bathroom. It would be helpful to leave a note that there is recycling, we did not realize this until we went to put out garbage as we were leaving. Finally, the light fixture in the kids bedroom is missing 2 bulbs. Overall, a nice place to stay. One other small thing, we could not locate a wine bottle opener. Since South Haven is known for its wineries it was a surprise we could not open our bottles until we went shopping to get an opener.
