Perfect size for a couple, very handy location to Akaroa while still feeling very quiet and isolated. Enjoyed breakfast on the deck listening to the bird life and taking in the stunning view of the bay. Loved our stay, thank you!
Great place with beautiful views and lovely nature sounds to wake up to in the morning. Little bit tough to get to if you’re planning on walking into town.

Amazing view and surrounding bush but wood burner kept going out, the kettle kept stopping well before it reached boiling, terrible small bed, I expected a lot better for 300 + per night, no face clothes.
The cottage is very well equipped with everything you might need. Comfortable bed.Our only grouse was the state of the road up to the cottage. We were in a small car, and were in danger of a puncture or broken axle.

Peace and quiet in the trees with visiting birds (the site won't allow me to name them but they are birds native to NZ) and just a short drive to town if you need to.
