Welcome to Overton Cottage!

Nestled in amongst native New Zealand bush, this one bedroom cottage captures the essence of the stunning Akaroa scenery with a view out over Akaroa Harbour, the sounds of the bell birds singing and privacy to really help you escape.

Wake up and wander out onto the balcony at the end of your bed to take in the fresh South Island air. Enjoy the cosy living area made for easy, laid-back holiday living and fitted with all the essentials you might need on your trip. At the end of the day when you need to really unwind there is a large spa bath ready and waiting to help the stress melt away. In Winter, pour yourself a glass of wine, light a fire and enjoy the calm surroundings.

Head into town, just a few minutes drive down the road, where you can explore the local shops and cafes. Or take a scenic cruise around Akaroa Harbour, host to amazing sea mammals and bird life, including the world’s smallest and rarest dolphins, the Hector's dolphin, New Zealand fur seals and White-flippered penguins.
