Great Weekend Getaway!

What a great place for a Fredericksburg getaway with friends for the New Year. We had guests from South Africa with us and it was so fun to give them a classic Texas experience at the beautiful historic ranch house. The cows and horses were so fun to come home to in the afternoons and enjoy coffee with in the mornings. Room layout was perfect for our group and beds were all comfy!

Quiet and Serene

Great getaway that is quiet and serene to escape the hustle and bustle of town. Close to many attractions and easy drive to other locations. Very clean and tidy. Historic ranch home full of history. We had all adults in our group but would also be great for families.

Hoffman Ranch w/everything

The house is situated on a large piece of property which is breathtaking. The livestock is a bonus to see throughout the day. The house was perfect for the 6 of us & was equipped w/toiletries and linen. The Fredericksburg area offered everything needed for our getaway. We will definitely be returning again!!

Weekend birthday retreat

Lovely piece of Fredricksburg heaven. Country stay, quiet, peaceful and inviting home. Just a few minutes from main but you feel miles away when youre relaxing outside enjoying the view. Just what we wanted. Maybe adding a firepit to be the cherry on top.

For its age the house is well maintained but could use a deep clean. Love the peaceful area. The king bed is lumpy and a bit uncomfortable. Coffee maker needs to be updated.

This property was top notch. Located just outside of town where it was quiet. Every room of this house was fully furnished. The wild turkey and deer were a pleasure to watch stroll by. I highly recommend and I will be back without hesitation.

Great place to stay. Not so much a good place for motorcycles.

The home is awesome, well kept. The drive is a dirt road for a little over a mile. Other than that, the place was very comfortable. Loads of wildlife to see from large deer and turkey to cows and horses. Great get-a-way that is only a few minutes from downtown and only minutes from the great wineries.

How do you summarize an amazing weekend, where every evening you get to relax listening and watching the cows, the armadillos dig in the yard, the horses run through the fields, the deer run through the fields, and waking up listening to turkeys and having breakfast while the deer graze next to you. Mostly handicap accessible, if you’re resourceful. Had a great time and can’t wait to come back again. Easy drive to the wineries but quiet evening when you’re done with the crowds. Just be aware of a 1/4 mile dirt road drive to get to the property.

A little difficult to find do to GPS.

Overall great. However, city Needs a light on hwy and make entrance sign visible. Once on property, beautiful. Google maps had us coming in from Red River which was back of property. Not cool!

What a relaxing place!!

The property is only about 15 min from town but you are in your own secluded part of nature. I went with a group of friends 4 in total and we had an absolute blast. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast and snacks. There is plenty of room in the common areas to relax and also a large table to play games, which we did. The back patio was awesome in the evening to watch for wildlife and we saw deer and an armadillo. This is a working ranch so there are cows and horses and cats that you can not pet but it was cool to have them all around you. It was just a great spot for a relaxing girls weekend!
