We loved our stay at Just Horsing Around! It’s set up perfectly for 2 people. The location is walkable to CB restaurants, etc. We appreciated the extra pillows, box fan, dimmable lights, luggage rack & hangers. It all allowed us to get situated comfortably and sleep well. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property and communication! We’ve rented 5 houses in CB and have wanted to try this property. It did not disappoint! Very comfortable and beautifully updated. Add in the location and this property is a 10!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again! The space was super cute, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic—just a short walk to the main strip of town, with the free town bus stop steps away, making it easy to get around without driving.

My husband and I wanted a weekend getaway in Crested Butte and found this darling little place. This historically updated little cabin had some very thoughtful finishes! Loved all the use of the reclaimed wood on the doors, floor, and trim. Very comfy bed, kitchen had the basics, and the location was right in town. The only downside was you don't really have any private outdoor space, but hey, great hiking is just a short drive away! We had fun looking at the Colorado guide book published in 1941 too.

We owned and my husband operated the Slogar Bar & Restaurant for 12 years which is the same property as the Chicken Little but now has new owners! We've lived in Crested Butte for 40+ years put together and love it there. This little cabin used be the "Horsin Around" stable which ran the hay rides around town in the 70's-80's.

Why they chose this property

On the bus loop, renovated historic cabin, cute as can be. We are so excited about this historic remodel. It was used as an old barn for a horse drawn carriage business that would go around town called "Just Horsin' Around". We were able to reuse lots of material from the original structure inside and out of the new cabin.

Located in the heart of Crested Butte, this adorable brand new cabin is perfect for your romantic getaway, family fun or hardcore adventures! Also, conveniently located next door to the nordic center and the world famous Slogar serving the best family style fried chicken dinner.
