This charming Home 2/2 that accommodates 6 people has been renovated with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. Located on Sombrero Beach Rd, this home is walking distance to the lovely Sombrero Beach, just a few blocks away from Publix, Winn-Dixie, CVS, great restaurants and local Bars.
The House is located in the heart of the Florida Keys, at Mile Marker 50 in Marathon, located on the Ocean side, Only a one hour car drive to Key West. The property Dock can accommodate comfortably up to a 35 foot Boat. Dock has a Fish cleaning table with a fresh water faucet & a Salt water hand pump. The dock also has a Shore power pedestal with 115V shore power, 120V AC outlet, a shower and a Fresh water hose for wash-down.
The House is comfortable for either fishing and or just relaxing as you wish. There is a freezer provided for your bait as well as a refrigerator for refreshments on the ground floor for your use. Just minutes away from the open water fishing grounds where you can enjoy catching various snappers species, grouper, tarpon, cobia, sailfish, dolphin (mahi), wahoo, tuna, king mackerel etc . . . and also Beautiful snorkeling or SCUBA diving to catch stone crab or lobster when in season. Close to Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, Bahia Honda State Park, seven mile bridge and great shallow & deep water fishing and diving. We also have a Live Bait Holding pen on site for you convenience.
The house has comfortable furniture and central A/C. We provide towels and linens. We have a stainless steel BBQ for outdoor cooking. Our home has Premium cable TV Service, FREE High speed WIFI Wireless Internet, Flat Screen TV's in both the living room and each bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed and the living room there is a queen Trundle pull-out bed. We have a full kitchen with brand new appliances, microwave, plates, pots, pans, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, and utensils for your convenience.
There is ample parking in front of the house for cars and boat trailer. There are several convenient FREE boat ramps in town for launching your boat with the closest being on the bay side on 34th street in Marathon. We have a 2 kayaks ( a single & a dual pax ), a paddle Board & 2 Bicycles on the ground floor that you can use for strolling thru the waterways or neighborhood at your leisure. There are 2 Hammocks, a picnic table & 4 lawn chairs for just relaxing.
This is our home that we enjoy and we invite and would like you to enjoy as well!

Paradise

This property is a true paradise. The hot tub surrounded by palm trees in the backyard is gorgeous. Sitting on the back deck at night also beautiful and relaxing. The house is fully stocked and perfectly decorated to give that vacation feel. Communication with the property owners was excellent. This is a perfect house!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was cute, clean and as described. Even had some Christmas decor up, which was nice! We brought our boat and the dockage was nice with water hose and fish cleaning set up. Had fun playing cornhole and enjoyed the hot tub at night. House had everything we needed and more. Lots of towels and plenty of kitchen items for cooking. Would definitely come back!

Relaxing Vacation!

This is a beautiful home and is stocked with bikes, games, beach chairs and everything else you need to enjoy fishing and the beach. The backyard is a tropical paradise and the deck is a perfect place to sit and relax at the end of the day. Close to the beach, restaurants and stores. Perfect rental!

Directly across the street from High school. At least 2 garbage trucks every morning around 5 or 6 am. Very noisy. Everything else was as stated. Beautiful property, great ammenities, and centrally located.

Short bike ride to Sombrero Beach, bars, restaurants and grocery stores! Great location. The home was perfect for us, clean and comfortable beds. On a canal so you can kayak to the beach also. Great memories, thank you😊

The house amazingly clean and the pictures are 100% accurate and real! Great location and lots to do in the area. The back yard is amazing. This place has absolutely everything you need to enjoy your time. The Manatees even came for a visit in the canal

Lobster spot

The house was very well equipped with everything you’d need. House was very clean and comfortable. Downstairs storage room was great with extra fridge freezer. Boat dock was great and no wake whatsoever so boat is safe. Neighbors are nice. Hot tub was great and clean. Little far to get to ocean access but a nice idling ride nonetheless. Only downfall is the school trash pickup at 6am. I’d definitely recommend this house.

Fun time in the keys!

Good central location in Keys. Location of house is directly across the street from a school so trash trucks woke us up at 5:30 every morning so gave it 3 stars for that as it wasn’t clear when looking at house. The house is really cute and decorated nicely! If up early to fish or start your day, not a problem and would recommend!

Great Vacation

Cute little house with great amenities. The backyard is fantastic and our toddler enjoyed the hammocks. Beds and couch were comfortable. TVs and internet worked fine. It is on a busier road across from a high school so a little noisy and need to be mindful for younger kids. The dock was nice and enjoyed the ride out through the canals. The canal is a little narrow but we were still able to get turned around easily enough. It was great being so close to Sombrero Beach and it was close to any of the restaurants we wanted to go to. Overall we would stay here again!

Marathon rental

House was very clean and comfortable, property was very well kept. Dock was great and very clean. Easy ride out to ocean through Sisters Creek. Storage room downstairs was perfect for rods and equipment-bait freezer works great. It was nice to have extra fridge also. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailer. Host was available for any questions we had. Would definitely stay there again - we had a great time!

Excellent Property

The house was immaculate and came with so many extras. Host thought if everything, from books and games and beach equipment to a kitchen equipped with everything you may need. Yard is beautiful, especially the hot tub surrounded by palm trees . Excellent communication with the property manager. Thank you Dors for all the extra touches!

Perfect location...perfect home

We had a great time for Spring Break 2023! The house itself had everything we needed or could want. The outdoor living space was perfect; especially the hammocks, hot tub and bean bags! Indoors everything was clean and orderly. There was plenty of room for four adults and two teenagers. The location had you 5 minutes from just about anything you could need. Would definitely recommend to anyone and stay again!! Dora was super responsive and courteous throughout all of our communications! Thank you!!!

Wonderful summer getaway!!

Dora’s home was very clean and our experience was a great one. We stayed in her home for a week for my son’s 17th birthday/ summer vacation. I wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have a boat but her home is perfect if you have one that you want to bring with you. The kayaks and paddle board came in handy. We spent a lot of time snorkeling a couple local spots. We rented a boat for a day and went to sombrero reef which was beautiful. The house is in a great location, close to the 7 mile bridge and about an hour to key west. We had an amazing time and Dora’s home was very accommodating.
