You and your guests will quickly embrace the warm and subtle ambience of the Great Room which boasts glistening hardwood floors, a massive stone gas fireplace, and bright open windows and deck doors. Imagine gathering around the cozy fireplace as you spend time with your loved ones. A fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to create your favorite meals or just to whip up a quick snack for the kids. Additional counter and cabinet space provides additional convenience. Dine around the rectangular dining table or enjoy your meal outside in the fresh mountain air. A gas grill is also available for those that love to barbeque.

Your main floor contains a full standard bath and 2 bedrooms both with Queen sized beds. Guests staying in the upper level Primary Suite will enjoy the spacious King size bed while the private balcony allows you to escape for some alone time.

Head to the lower level Family Room where you will find entertaining your guests a true pleasure. In addition to the cozy wood fireplace, TV, and wet bar, this home also has a pool table. Sky Valley is a favorite community for multiple reasons with one of the most popular being the sandy roped off beach area with 3 swim floats located a short drive away from Bear Mountain Lodge. The community also offers a small fishing pond with a gazebo, sledding trails, and community basketball court. The many walking trails are a wonderful added bonus for enjoying a quiet morning stroll.

Relaxing

When we had any issue the acted on it quickly. Could use a new couch and some jacuzzi work. Loved the big kitchen table! The private public swim area/dock was a close. We went to some great water falls, Lavender farm, Farmer’s market, and places to eat. Loved the firepit.

The house was very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. The pool table was great and the fire pit in back was perfect for s’mores.

Excellent Accommodations!

Bear Mountain Lodge had it all. Super comfortable and very clean - it was a great place for our annual couples weekend in Deep Creek. The hot tub was one of the best we’ve had during our four years of renting there, the kitchen was super well stocked with anything we could need to make all of our meals, having three bedrooms with adjacent baths spread over all three levels was great for our group, and the living areas were very comfortable. It was a little off the beaten path, but had a very private feeling to it’s setting. Our only quibble was that we didn’t have any access to streaming services, so if that matters to you, just make sure to bring your device with you to hook up to the TV. We’ll be back!
