The Captains Unit is located on the bow of the Waitanic Ship. This ship was a World War II Petrol Boat that was recovered from Australia and took 2 years to refurbish.
This multi-deck unit can sleep up to 6 people. It consists of 3 decks with the living/dining room with kitchenette located on the top deck. There is also a small bathroom and outdoor balcony located on this level.
Deck level contains the master bedroom with king size bed and it’s own outdoor deck on the prow.
Below in the hull, there are 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each and the main bathroom featuring a shower and toilet.
This unit is suitable for people who can handle stairs and is not recommended for elderly or people with physical limitations.

It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, it faded away for me after a while, it wasn't overpowering or anything.

Its ok but alot of stairs and smelt very stuffy. Master Bedroom lights didnt work but great kitchen/appliances. Certainly a novelty.

Disappointing ectually
The surrounding is beautiful and close bye everything where we came for.
Many lamps didn’t work. There were no pictures of the 2 sleeping eras below in the ship on the information site.
They had no comfort and had not a pleasant smell, what keep some of us awake.
All in all much too expensive what we got!
