About this property
Peace & Quiet-- Two Miles From Downtown.
The property has undergone a 100K+ total renovation and has just become available again for rent. Everything in the condo is brand new from the sheets to the furnishings.
Private and quiet condominium (feels like a single-family residence). If quiet is what you seek; you've found it.
Two private patios--Beautiful green belts throughout the property--3 Pools, 3 Jacuzzi's, and tennis courts. Resort-like living. Brand new window coverings throughout. with new paint, flooring, appliances and furniture. Charming mid-century modern condo designed by highly acclaimed Palm Springs architect, Donald Wexler. A popular community, Sagewood, offers lush park-like grounds and spacious, enclosed private patios. (Sagewood is among the properties on the Modernism Week Tour.) The condo is just steps away from one of three community pools, jacuzzis, tennis courts and only minutes from downtown. Decorator colors and custom window coverings add distinctive upscale touches. The beautiful, lush south-facing patio is perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
The master has its own full bath and the bedroom sliding glass door opens to a large, private teak patio. The open floor plan creates a sense of space and flow. Two bedrooms have new queen-sized beds and the den has a double bed pull-out futon. Television in the master bedroom, the den and living room with full cable, Internet and landline for country-wide calls. Two televisions have DVR boxes for recording.
Unfortunately, I am not able to consider rentals for less than 28 days according to the rules and regulations of the Homeowner's Association.
Looking forward to accommodating you,
Chuck

About the host
Hosted by Chuck Wallau

Hi, I''m Chuck. I live in Redondo Beach just two hours west of Palm Springs. I purchased this condo for my own personal use as well as a vacation rental property for guests.
Why they chose this property
I first discovered Sagewood when I drove out to visit friends that had purchased a home there. What struck me was the rolling green belts everywhere. There's just nothing like it in the desert.
I am a Realtor and I actually hired a Realtor in P.S. as I wasn't familiar with all the different areas and the nuances. I told him that anything that he showed me outside Sagewood would be his sale and his commission. He showed me everything but I kept coming back to the same development. Sagewood with it's lush and spacious grounds was the clincher and I've never regretted owning a home there. Fortunately, the visitors feel the same way.

What makes this property unique
Amazing quiet. I live on the beach so between the neighbors, the bike path, the walking path and the wonderful sound of the ocean it's not all that quiet. The Palm Springs condo is so peaceful. The three pools, three Jacuzzi's and tennis courts make it feel like a club but with perfect privacy. You rarely hear or see anyone even though it is over a 100 condominium community. When I go to the pools I am usually the only one there or one of just a few people.
