Guest Access:
The 4-acre property is fully fenced with private gate access. You will receive a welcome email 48 hours prior to check-in with gate and door codes.

The Neighborhood:
Just a few minutes' walk from the house is the beautiful Lake Hodges, perfect for boating, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and fishing, with equipment rentals available on-site. Hernandez Hideaway, a well-known Mexican restaurant, is also nearby for an epic meal.

Hiking and mountain biking trails are abundant in the area. To the west, it's just a short drive to the beaches of Del Mar, where you can enjoy coffee shops, restaurants, surfing, and nightlife. To the east, within 5 to 10 minutes, you'll find a vibrant town with cafes, restaurants, a large shopping mall, and the San Diego Safari Park, just 15 minutes from the house. This central location provides easy access to all that San Diego has to offer.

Getting Around:
Uber usually arrives within about 5 minutes. We can also assist in arranging a rental vehicle delivery if needed. A public bus stop is within walking distance for those looking for more adventure.

Other Things to Note:
Upon booking, we will send you a full e-sign rental agreement, which must be completed within 24 hours along with a photo ID of the primary renter. All guests staying on the property must be listed along with their ages. For security purposes, there are several outdoor cameras on the property covering the gate, front entry, back doors, pool area, and garage. There are no cameras inside the home, and all outdoor cameras are positioned to protect guest privacy. The guesthouse is not included in this rental, but it will remain unoccupied during your stay, ensuring full privacy.

The property is set up for self-check-in, but a remote host is available to assist with features and questions. We are always available for inquiries about the house, the property, or San Diego in general and would love to help you have an amazing stay.
