This waterfront resort style home is sure to be your new unforgettable beach retreat with views of the water and private beach! You'll want to bring all your family and friends to this large 6 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom home with a bonus private den with one pull out queen sofa & another queen pull out sofa off the living room, gourmet kitchen, your own private sandy beach, a private resort style pool and spa, kayaks and paddle boards, and all kinds of fun amenities! You're also just a short drive to all the best attractions, beaches, restaurants, and fun spots in beautiful beach town, Carlsbad.
Everyone wins in this home with something for all - from relaxing in the stunning resort style pool and spa, playing on the sandy private beach with kayaks and paddle boards to a beach bonfire with sunset s'mores. A pool, spa and games galore, and a full Chef's kitchen to make your masterpiece meals! You'll fall in love with this home and beach town where you may never want to leave! The $200 pool fee is for the spa heat. The pool has solar but that will not heat it more than about 10
Degrees above the outside morning temperature. If you want it heated to 82 degrees there is $150 per day cost to cover the utilities.
This home is sure to impress with first class amenities and a wrap around deck to take in the views of the water. There's many spots for sunset dinners al fresco on the patio or out on the beach. Each room features a king size bed and almost all with their private ensuite bathroom and TV. The room off the living room features a 60'' TV, Xbox, Playstation, and two comfy memory foam full size pull out sofa beds. Downstairs you'll find a pool table, another living room and large TV, and kitchen. There's also two laundry rooms in the house.

Great vacation house

This is a spectacular house with a beautiful pool, its own lagoon beach and is close to the Carlsbad ocean beach. This was our second stay at this location and we had a great time. Highly recommended.

Perfect Family Getaway!

Had our annual family reunion here. It had the perfect set up! Plenty of room for us to be together and plenty of space to take some time apart!The outdoor space was phenomenal as was the kitchen. They were very responsive when we had questions which was very much appreciated.We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next gathering!

Great vacation home

We visited Carlsbad with 14 family members for my father in laws birthday, and this house was great! Kids enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming and playing pool. More than enough space and we never felt crowded. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and enjoying family meals. Property manager was easily available if I had questions. Thanks you for a wonderful stay!

The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped but there were some minor issues: The smoke detector in the main floor was missing, Several windows in the master bedroom on the main floor were broken and fell out of the frames when we tried to open them and there should be some type of railing on the bottom floor deck to prevent someone from falling in to the pool. It would have been nice to know there was construction going on next door. Otherwise it was terrific!

Hi Steve, The smoke detectors were upgraded when we put in a ADT security system. The old one was removed. I am aware of one window in the master that needs new springs which I ordered last week. Sorry about that. A rail is a good idea, I just don’t want to take away from the view. The construction is out of my control and was supposed to be done months ago. It looks like they will finish in a couple weeks.

Magical Christmas House!

Had a wonderful Christmas get away at this beautiful home! We were pleasantly surprised that the house was fully decorated for Christmas! House was stocked with everything for babies/kids and we all had so much fun kayaking and playing in the heated pool! Highly recommend for a perfect family trip! Hosts were very sweet and responsive! Even left everyone wrapped Christmas gifts! Wow!

Family Reunion

Spectacular property! The accommodations were incredible! The house is equipped with everything you need and Bruce and Barbara left us a greeting basket of toys, snacks and wine. Everything was above and beyond what we expected! Plenty of activities and restaurants close by to keep everyone happy. We had five kids between the ages of 15 and 17 and seven adults up to the age of 75. Can't wait to return next year. Thank you Bruce and Barbara for being such gracious hosts!

The perfect beach getaway!

This house is gorgeous and everything you could ever want when staying at the beach. You never have to leave! It was beach front access, which is great for the kiddos to play and the adults to relax. The pool overlooks the water and it perfect if you don’t want to go in the ocean. It also includes all the amenities, such as coffee, all the kitchen supplies you could ever need, extra towels, and games. The host are amazing, extremely responsive, and even left a sweet gift basket. We are very happy with our stay and can’t wait to go back!

60th Anniversary Celebration

Our family came together to celebrate my parents 60th anniversary and this house had something for everyone! We had three generations (ages 22-84) in our party and everyone could find something to do. The pool and jacuzzi were a big hits as were all the water toys. The house is very spacious with lots of room for family meals together as well as quiet time to read. Thanks so much to the hosts for everything they did to make this a special vacation for my parents. We would definitely come back.

Epic house!!

Stayed here with 12 people and we had the best time. They have literally everything you could ever want! We had an infant (1.5yrs old) with us and the house was loaded with baby gear. The play room was perfect and the kiddos spent all day in the heated pool and on the beach. If I could give this house 6 stars I would! Plenty of room for 12.

Carlsbad villa

Perfect spot for our family vacation. 11 adults fit comfortably in this spacious, well-equipped house. We were a little worried the nearby freeway sound would bother us, but it really didn’t. The house has everything (it could stand a little maintenance on a few things, but generally most everything was functional). Loved the private beach, the pool and the spa. Great location near enough to town (and thus groceries) but also feels like you’re away on your own on the lagoon. Would stay here again (and we weathered an actual hurricane!).

Villa Bahia exceeded all expectations! The online pictures and descriptions do not do justice to the property. This home has all the amenities you need, everything from cooking to playing! For our family vacation, teenagers to 80+, everyone enjoyed the accommodations! The owners and property manger are friendly and generous! The seem like people you would invite into your home!

Fantastic Vacation Home

Villa Bahia is an amazing home! It was a perfect spot for our family vacation with 10 adults and 4 grandchildren ages ranging from 1-75. The home is very comfortable and well stocked with everything you'll need. A grocery store is conveniently located in about a 5 minute drive. There's plenty of beach towels, pool toys, beach toys, games, and a playroom with lots of fun toys and books for the littles. The owners were great to deal with and always responded quickly to our questions. We were surprised by the very generous gift basket that was left for us on the kitchen island. Thank you so much, it was such a kind gesture to kick off our week and it was enjoyed by all. We can't say enough about how fabulous this home is, our week was perfect in every way! Tom and Terri

Amazing stay

This house was simply incredible. It was very spacious and accommodating. The hosts were quite communicative and helpful. The kitchen (and amenities) and common areas were so large and comfortable - we ordered a personal chef one night and he was in heaven! The private beach with kayaks and paddleboards were just wonderful and so inviting. The hot tub was great! The only room for improvement I would say is that we were told the pool would be heated to 82 degrees and it was definitely in the low 70s. When I requested it to be heated more, it never seemed to get to a comfortable temperature (it was 60-65 degrees out when we visited in February). Also, strangely, the hot tube drained halfway each evening, which made for night-time dips to be significantly less enjoyable. Otherwise a supremely wonderful stay and would very highly recommend this property!

Family reunion

We had the best week of the year at this magnificent house. The cleanliness and amenities were way beyond what were used to seeing even in similarly priced rentals. Sarah, the concierge was a sweetheart and always available and the owner himself picked up the phone and allowed me to bring the last minute edition of my dog. We kayaked and paddle boarded 3 to 4 times a day- enjoyed the pool hot tub and waterfalls day and night and we luxuriated in the kitchen. a We each had our own beautiful bedroom and bathroom- so clean and up to date. The children got to share the room off of the living room, which had a pull out bed and enough toys(organized and clean)to keep them busy for the entire week. This is a perfectly appointed house. We definitely brought too many things, every necessity from sunscreen to beach towels, was right at our fingertips. I location is so perfect right near the beach where we took surfing lessons,a few blocks from the grocery store, and one are far family members celebrated their first wedding anniversary at a lovely restaurant in Carlsbad. I don’t know how they managed, but even the weather was perfect.. Big big, thank you to the owners and take care takers -this was happiness with zero regret. Anne and Family

Perfect getaway for families!!!

I cannot say enough about this property!! Barb was incredibly welcoming and thorough with her welcome basket. It is one of the most well-stocked houses we have ever stayed with our children (I regretted packing several things because we didn't need them!!). Floaties/life jackets, towels, beach chairs, paddle boards, beach toys, kayaks, karaoke machine, kid toys, high chairs, pack n play, baby gate, baby monitors, noise machines, kid cups/dishes...all provided!! The kitchen had everything we could ever need, especially TWO large fridges and freezers in the kitchen and pantry. We only left the house once to go to the beach during our entire stay because we had such a fun time in the pool and playing in the bay. For the 4th we watched the Legoland fireworks across the bay while roasting marshmallows around the bonfire next to the water. It was so nice and no fighting traffic after the show was over! We had 3 little mobile ones in addition to older toddlers and kiddos and I was so worried about water safety around the pool but it turned out fine due to the fact that on the main floor there was a huge play room, the primary floor outdoor balcony does not lead down to the water area and the stairs to the basement were secured with a locking baby gate pre-installed for us. This allowed us to have the babies safely contained on the main floor during meal preparation/eating which gave parents peace of mind. Loved it all!!!

A (not so little) slice of paradise!!

Such a beautiful and accommodating home that offers so many gifts! We had a friend and family reunion that turned into our impromptu wedding ceremony on the beach at sunset. The entire weekend was absolutely magical! Not only is the home beautiful, furnished beautifully, and in the perfect location, but Barbara and the house concierge, Sarah, were there to answer every question and address any need we may have had (which were few, because they did such an amazing job ensuring the house was FULLY stocked, from a beautiful welcome basket to towels and sunscreen!).
