Winter Driving Many highways, access roads and/or driveways are steep in Tahoe/Truckee and may be icy in the winter. To ensure your safety, it is critical that during November 1st - April 30th brakes, windshield wipers, defroster, heater and exhaust system are in top condition. Tires need to be properly inflated and the tread must be in excellent condition. Always carry tire chains, even if driving an AWD/4WD vehicle. Make sure the chains are the proper size for your tires and are in working order. You may find valuable winter driving tips from the CHP here: https://bit.ly/3IKiY7n
Summer Patio Furniture Patio furniture is available for your use during summer months only. All outdoor tables, chairs and loungers are put into storage in the fall, in order to protect the furnishings from winter weather. Barbecue grills, however, do remain outside for your enjoyment.
Black bears are very common in this area and have become habituated to human food and garbage. Because bears no longer have a strong fear of humans, you may encounter bears during your spring, summer and fall stays. Feeding bears is illegal. Leaving food outside, trash accessible, or doors and windows unlocked is likely to cause significant property damage to homes and to vehicles. Please take a moment to learn how to be Bear Aware, so that we can continue to live in harmony with our wildlife.

The view of the lake was absolutely stunning, the house was extremely clean, and we appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil one might need! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us borrow your beautiful vacation home!

Great home to stay with multiple families! Location is perfect and the photos do not do the view justice (waking up, enjoying a cup of coffee and looking out the windows was memorable!!)

The property is exactly as listed! The view is stunning and worth every penny. My guests and I greatly appreciated the details left out for our stay (towels near the hottub, spices in the kitchen, extra linens, a heater, and a fan in all the bedroom closets). Would 100% return!

My family and I were excited about our first stay in Truckee and this beautiful home. And we were thrilled from when we first walked through the door. Everything about this property is first rate, the view, spaciousness, decor, provisions and amenities. And we were very happy with everything Truckee has to offer plus the expert service from Tahoe Luxury Properties. We have been blessed to be able to stay in some lovely properties but this one is our favorite and we hope to return next year. Thank you.

Greetings Linda,
We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us at Big Sky and found the home well appointed for your family. We would be more happy to host you again in the future, thank you for staying with us in Lake Tahoe!
Kind Regards,
TLUXP Team
Worth the stay. Great location for all the summer things. Incredible view of lake. If want to use facilities in Tahoe Donner they give you 6 passes but if you know someone in the area and can get added to their guest list the additional daily fee would be less expensive. 24 vs 10 for an adult. If you have any problems contact them and they are there to help. We needed more towels and a new blender and they were quick in responding to our needs. Sauna was the only thing that disappointed me. Didn’t really warm and no temp guide. Can’t beat the price for what this home has to offer. Or family of 11 would come back for sure. Had a great vacation.
We came to Tahoe for a wedding. It was an amazing home to stay in. Perfect location, the hot tub and sauna was so welcoming after skiing all day. The kitchen was huge to feed our group of 12. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well. I have no words for views of the mountains and the lake!!! So very incredible, it was very hard to leave! Thank you so much for sharing your home! It was truly an unforgettable trip!!
This house is amazing in every way, from the interior accommodations and spaciousness to the amenities to the incredible deck and breathtaking views. It was the perfect place for a family of 10 to gather and re-connect. Thank you for the wonderful time!
Beautiful Views, Serene evenings and fun during the day
The house is really great with views from just about every room and a great deck, lots of room for cooking and eating and lounging. The bedrooms were all great upstairs and downstairs. Just a great home that we loved and will try to get back to!!
This place is amazing! Everything was perfect at Big Sky! No issues what-so-ever and check-in was a breeze. House was amazing and in a very quiet area! Lots of things do there or just stay in and enjoy the house and hot tub!
Will return again when we can!
It was perfect for our family of 10 and a couple of fur babies. And the views ... Breathtaking!!! Location is close to shops, and activities around the lake. Best of all ... kids found a spot just down the hill to go sledding.
This house is fantastic. Open, spacious with great views close to Truckee. We only had 6 people so plenty of space but could fit plenty more and still not be crowded. Perfect blend of spacious and cozy tucked on the hill overlooking the lake. Kristen was a fantastic property contact, responsive and pleasant
This property doesn't disappoint. Beautifully serene location with easy access to many Donner/Tahoe activities. The home was stunning and offered gorgeous views and spaces to relax and recharge after a very difficult first 6 months of 2020. My family absolutely loved our whole stay here.
