Great Stay

Very nice property! Convenient to all points on the island. Property is spacious and Pedro was always willing to provide additional information. Filled up 6 days with hiking, relaxing, and eating Portuguese pastry.

Por de Sol stay

Perfect in every way. The built space is light and airy, quiet, and perfect for relaxing with my family. Ample parking available in front of the house, walking distance to the best beach on the island, good restaurants, and the owner was very welcoming. Overall, a perfect stay for us.

A Lovely Family Holiday

Stayed here for 2 weeks for a family holiday. Vitor was a marvellous host whose sole aim was to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The property exceeded our expectations and the pool was fantastic. The island was lovely and we enjoyed beaches, hot springs, caves and some good hikes in beautiful countryside as well as some very generously sized and lovely tasting food. The property is a bit away from the centre of town and the beach where the locals live (30 min walk, although local shop & restaurant within 5 min) so a car is needed, but it is free to park nearly everywhere. Would stay again.

Goede villa in rustige buurt.

Wij waren er 1 week met 5 volwassenen en de villa voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Prima inventaris met genoeg handdoeken en keuken gerei. Het was jammer dat het zwembad niet verwarmd kon worden want het was te koud. 1 badkamer is te weinig voor 5 volwassenen met wc in de badkamer. Grote verrassing is dat je het toilet papier in een pedaalemmer moet doen vanwege te kleine afvoer. De matrassen iets te hard, persoonlijk. Alles bij elkaar goed te doen en aan te bevelen.

Hello Rino, thanks for the review and your honesty. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Still need to add that I don´t think the pool temperature was "cold" as you mentioned, surely not during the day and that can mislead my future guests as during the summer and first couple weeks of autumn, the temperature here is very pleasant (water and weather too). Regarding the bathroom, all description of the property divisions is well explained and with photos for the guests, therefore guets should choose wisely a property suited for their needs and preferences. That being said, I would like all hosts to know you were absolutely perfect guests, a beautiful family and I hope to see you back in the future. All the best
