A Step Back to Authentic Hawaiian Pleasures. When you stay at Wyndham Kona Hawaiian in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island's west coast, you'll feel as if you're stepping back in time to a simpler, unspoiled era. Every detail has been designed to re-create the charming island ambiance found back in the '30s, while still assuring you all the comfortable amenities and activities you expect in a modern-day tropical stay.

The front desk assigns the specific unit around the time of check-in so your view may vary. Let us know if you have a preference to be near a specific location throughout the property or if you would like a specific view. We will gladly notate your preference as your stay gets closer. I will stay here again!

Check in was easy, and we were able to get am early check in the morning of arrival. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The condo was awesome, and had all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed the pool and exercise room, and the close proximity to all of the shops and restaurants on Alii drive.

Quiet, comfy, and the unit we got- although no ocean view- was close to the big pool and hot tub. The grandson loved it. Spacious, certainly nothing too fancy, but we throughly enjoyed our stay?

Great property

Located on the fun Alii Drive. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. If you don’t have to have an ocean view I would recommend. You can walk, take the trolly or drive up or down Alii. Beaches, shopping, dining and lots of activities.

Very nice property. Well maintained and modern enough. There is an ocean view across the street but no close beach access. The staff was wonderful and the gym/ pools were very nice. On our budget I feel like we got a great deal and had a wonderful stay. We wish we would have stayed longer here.

The Wyndham property was a little dated but they had nice activities and plenty of space in the condo. I wish there was a better beach close by. Only snag we hit was the was a very large bug (centipede type) in the kitchen one morning. But it’s Hawaii after all.

These are time share condo rentals in a wyndham development. Managed by a big corporation. Great location- 10 min walk to Kona town and beaches. Felt a little like being in a hotel. very quiet development. An excellent bed! Spacious living room. Strange bathroom in master open to bedroom. upstairs units with a garden or courtyard view are definitely better. Did not have condo amenities like boogie boards and snorkel gear that other rentals had - and we definitely did not like the timeshare push. Best thing about the place was the amazing comfy beds- also pool was smaller than expected. overall clean And quiet. Good location and well-managed. thanks! love the big island!
