We came here for our 30th wedding anniversary…it was awful! One towel per person, no AC which should have been in big bold letters, no privacy because you had to leave all the windows open to be able to withstand the heat, there were ants everywhere and the staff constantly fed the chickens and roosters which made for a great wake up call all night long not to mention they started work outside my bedroom window at 6AM and had no consideration of noise level. If I could get a refund for the waste of money I spent it would be awesome!
Nice stay all around. Good location in North Shore, easy to get everywhere. Clean, comfy bed, and everything needed for my stay (it was me solo). Would stay again.
My Husband and I only needed a room for a couple nights and this room did just fine. It was clean and the staff was very nice. The only complaints I would have are that after we checked in we had to talk to someone who tried to get us to buy into ownership. We already own a Timeshare so we had no problem saying no, however, we hadn’t even seen our room yet and they were already asking us to buy. I will admit that they were not pushy and they knew no meant no, however, we had just had an 11 hour flight, were awake for 24 hours, we were starving and just wanted to unload in our room and go get food. Our Studio room was fine for the 2 days we needed it but that would be the maximum time I’d spend there. Also, the shower head and shower pressure were so low that I had to fill the ice bucket with water just to rinse my hair. 2 days of that we’re enough.
The studio space we rented was perfect for my daughter and me to rest after enjoying the beauty of the island. It was very clean and in a good location. We awoke early, thanks to the roosters, and walked to the ocean to watch the sunrise. It was spectacular. I received quite a bit of help from phone calls from the owners, too, who helped guide me through check in process. Everyone was very friendly.
This property was lovely. It was a cute, small studio perfect for 2 people. The view is absolutely beautiful as well since it over looks the luscious green golf course and blue ocean.
When we travel, we spend the entire day adventuring so this room was perfect to relax in for the evening.
The only downside of this was:
1. The hot tub was closed (which sometimes you cannot avoid). We purposely picked this property because of the hot tub. Hopefully next time we come back its open!
2. The check-in process was a mess. We arrived late at night so the security guard had to do a quick check-in for us (which is fine). The next day, we were told to go to the front desk to finish our check-in, which we did. The lady was very friendly and gave us a parking pass and told us we were done with the check-in process. However, that night, our key was not working for our room. We went down to the front desk to figure out why it wasn't working and one of the workers was very rude and told us we never checked-in. As a guest, it did not feel good. We were told earlier that morning we were all good and that the check-in process was complete. This is why I rated the check-in process 1 star. I really hope that worker can learn better customer service without having an attitude.
Overall, this little "hump" we had to deal with isn't a deal breaker; we still loved the place and would totally come back. If you are out all day adventuring or doing activities, this place is great to come back to at night and relax.
