Selah, means ‘A Time to Pause and Think’. An apt name for this beautiful home in a quiet yet stunning location. Located in Nelson's premier beach side suburb, with exceptional views over Tahunanui Beach & Tasman Bay, this home offers peace & privacy, all with a tremendous wow factor! Walk to the beach, local eateries & craft brew pubs, or simply recline in the spa and enjoy the view. Tasman Bay's outdoor playground and National Parks are at your fingertips! Please note, our house is not available for corporate bookings.

Exceptional Views over Tasman Bay Tahuna Beach! Lovely home and suitable for 3 couples , all with own amenities, plus one room downstairs. Plenty of seating. Exceptionally sunny in living areas and main bedroom. Wonderful to just sit on the decking and take in the views, and the activities on the water. Also close to walkway, down to the beach. Recommend.

The house is wonderful and has a very complete equipment. Especially the view over the bay was impressive. Thank you for the nice days!

The home has a million dollar view of the Nelson beach area and the hot tub provided some relaxing moments after being out and active all day. Overall had a great time and found everyone accommodating and helpful.

For somewhere with expansive and ever-changing sea views, this lovely house excels. Well-equipped, and with many thoughtful touches, this house can accommodate an extended family or number of friends. It is a real privilege to stay in this home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely place with that amazing view - thank you. It provided a wonderful venue for our family reunion, with two of us from Australia and three from England. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodated us beautifully and the well-equipped kitchen enabled the preparation of some memorable meals together

This is a lovely property with stunning views over Tahunanui Beach and beyond. The standard of decor and furniture in the house is very high, and the spa is a great touch. Would definitely stay again if in the Nelson region.

We had an amazing family time at Selah Beach View and are very happy with the service you provided. On the sunny days we had nice walks along the beach and on the rainy day it was cosy to stay inside. The property offers sufficient privacy for all guests, is well maintained, comes with all the necessary equipment, and has a cosy vibe to it. If we were to come back to Nelson, we would definitely consider this place again.

The view is incredible - we stayed here for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The host let us check out an hour later due to our late flight which we really appreciated. Standouts of our experience were the view from the main room, hot tub, and master bedroom view (again) master shower/tub/bathroom. This is a great place!

When we walked into this adorable apartment, our jaws dropped when we saw the view in person! We were here at the end of our trip to New Zealand, and got to spend two nights in this wonderful place. We loved the view, the facilities and the comfort! Someone with a real sense of style and comfort obviously decorated, and we felt so comfortable! The bed was soft and well appointed, the bathroom had plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fact that we were able to park in the driveway right next to the house was so convenient as the street is very busy. We would stay here again if we were ever able to make it back to New Zealand. We compared the price to local hotels, and this was not only a better location for us but a better price! I highly recommend this rental! It was one of the places we were most thrilled with staying during our trip to New Zealand.We hope our daughter will be able to visit this beautiful country, and if this is available, we will definitely recommend this rental to her!

Senior ladies getaway

4 good friends, all between 65 and 75, had a 2 day getaway to just have a few nice days together. This was the perfect spot, where we each had our own bedroom, with 3 bathrooms, a beautiful view from the lounge and deck and a spa pool to relax in. It was wonderful.

Hi! We're Jenni and Cliff, and we welcome you to our lovely Nelson home! Together with our 3 sons (one's an architect and two are builders), we renovated this house to capture both the magnificent views and the peaceful environment. We love to travel, and when our children were young, we took them around the world for a year, before settling in Nelson.
We have a passion for helping people reach their full potential. For 16 years we ran an outdoor education centre for children, and are now we are marriage and relationship coaches, inspiring and equipping couples and families to flourish.

Why they chose this property

We bought the property because of the view and it's closeness to the beach (just a few minutes walk to the beach). It has the added benefit of being in a quiet and peaceful area, and can't be built out (there is a reserve on one side of us).

What makes this property unique

Apart from the view, one of the unique things about this property, for us, is the amazing richness of the soil. We love to grow fruit and veges, and we are stunned at the rapid growth of the trees we have planted.
