an excellent property and a lovely host

Right from the booking stage, the host was fantastic in responding to my queries on a timely basis. I was also impressed by the detailed instructions I was sent when I booked - made it super easy. Thru out the booking process, the host was super responsive. The stay was just awesome - its a lovely and spacious flat, well decorated and catered for. It was clean when we arrived. The property had all the amenities we needed as a family and we had a great time, the host made all the arrangements to make our stay enjoyable. The caretaker was also super helpful and friendly - overall made our experience very enjoyable. Def recommend this property - location is perfect too - host, property and location - all Five stars.

Excellent abode and service!

The apartment is very spacious with three bedrooms and each with attached bath. We used only two of them as there were only three adults in our party. The kitchen is stocked with provisions which is a big difference compared to all other VRBO I have stayed at around the world! Although we did not cook during our two week stay, if you want to, all you need to buy are vegetables! The apartment is fully serviced by the maid, Parvathi, who is a gem! She cleans the apartment, washes your clothing and hangs and folds them next day, she even ironed them at our request, washes any dishes - FULL service that I have never enjoyed at any other apartment. The check-in process was very easy with the neighbor providing us with keys even though we arrived late in the evening. The owner, Radha, is incredibly responsive from the moment we booked the apartment. The instructions were impeccable. Our only difficulty during the stay was the presence of two parakeets in a small cage in the service verandah! They were very sweet and not a nuisance but to see two birds that should be free and live their life (even if short compared to living in the cage) was a bit heart-rending and all of us felt very saddened every morning and evening as we saw them. That sorry sight not withstanding, the apartment is a gem and I would definitely stay again.

Thanks sir. Someone gifted the budgies and understand if I let it fly the crow will eat right away. So I am saving them by not letting it out. Many enjoy them but as you say I feel sad too. We talk to them & it understands our presence.

My experience with Radha’s apartment in the Chitralaya complex was extremely pleasurable! It commenced with my initial dealings with Radha, with her timely communications ensuring I would feel at home in her Chennai apartment right from the time of arrival! Upon my arrival Radha transferred the responsibilities for my care to the lovely Seetha, who also lives at the complex. She was willing to do anything required to ensure that the pleasurable standard of my stay would be maintained (or even enhanced) throughout! The maid Parvati maintained the immaculate condition of the apartment throughout my stay, and on her daily visits is also available for her very thorough clothes washing services. The accommodation standard was also extremely high, especially considering the very reasonable rate I paid! It consists of 3 large bedrooms (each with their own bathroom), laundry, kitchen and two large and luxurious living areas. All of them were fully appointed with quality fixtures and fittings (all in pristine condition, as was the building itself), so there was absolutely nothing lacking throughout my stay! Its powerful climate control facilities provided a complete respite from the sticky Chennai weather (especially important with the critical sleeping comfort consideration). Especially given the bargain price I paid for my stay, the 5 stars I left for all the ratings doesn’t do justice! Thanks again to Radha, Seetha and Parvati for my pleasurable recent stay in Chennai!
