About Antoinetta Piacquadio and Paul Currie
My husband and I have lived in the Norwich area for over 30 years. We are both retired; I worked as a Clinical Research Associate and my husband was an Elementary School Educator. This rental house has been a little project for us. We enjoy decorating it for guest enjoyment.
Antoinetta Piacquadio and Paul Currie purchased this House in 1995

This was our first experience and it was most enjoyable! The property was beautifully maintained, clean and convenient. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We would certainly rent from them again!
Country retreat close to the city!
Really great first-time renting through VRBO. The house was exactly as advertised--nice home in a quiet country setting. We especially appreciated the full kitchen, spotless bathroom with provided toiletries (a surprise!), and comfortable beds. A/C in bedrooms and living room a plus in summer. Also appreciated the provided magazines and books for light morning reading. Beautiful yard with nice deck. Very convenient to downtown Norwich. Could only be better if it had wifi and cable TV. Will never stay in a hotel in town again!
Thank you, Patti! We take pride in our rental and strive to make guests as comfortable as possible. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for being such thoughtful guests. We hope you visit us again.
This quiet location is near many attractions and entertainment. The Northeast Classic Car Museum located in Norwich has over 150 classic and vintage cars and motorcycles. The Antique Car Show, Gus Macker Tournament, and the Chenango Blues Fest are annual events in Norwich. Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival in early September is a juried exhibition of art with food vendors, demonstrations, and music. It’s only a 40 mile drive through attractive country side to Dream Park and Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. If you enjoy golf, there are several courses within a short drive. Local golf courses include the Canasawacta Country Club in Norwich, Bluestone in Oxford, and the Back of Sundown in Guildford. In the fall take a get-away trip and enjoy the colorful hills of Chenango County. The area is surrounded by New York State land which offers many activities such as hiking, camping, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and swimming. You can take a day trips to the Corning Glass Museum, Turning Stone Casino, Tioga Downs Casino and winery tours in the Finger Lakes region. Colgate College, Cornell University, Hartwick College, SUNY Oneonta, SUNY Binghamton and Broome Community are 25 to 50 miles away. At the end of a day you can relax in front of crackling fireplace in the winter, or lounge on the backyard deck in warmer months.
