About this property
Ohana Hawaiian term meaning "family"
Summary:
OHANA lies within an easy few minute stroll of the beach and nicely elevated to catch the sea breeze. Ideally positioned to enjoy all the attractions and delights of the village, it’s a perfect fit for couples and small groups. A large outdoor under roof entertainment area provides space for everyone to unwind, doze in a deckchair after a morning on the beach, light the Webber barbecue and simply relax.
The Space:
Restaurants, great coffee, professional services and a range of speciality retailers are very handy. Park the vehicle and walk to all you’ll need for a great break by the beach.
There’s a queen bed in the main air-conditioned bedroom, bunks for the kids in the lounging area and bathroom with front load washing machine, while a very handy hot/cold outdoor shower looks after salt and sand.
You’ll have the place to yourselves, apart from daily visits of curlew, honey eaters and an occasional pretty face wallaby bounding by. When you have the catch of the day, a big gas range cooker will cater to the chef in the family.
Surfers will love the easy board under your arm walking distance to the beach, while the dog friendly exercise area north of the main beach is a great place to let the family dog run and swim free. The main beach is an ideal spot to teach someone to catch a wave and watch the smiles appear. The public boat ramp is a few kilometre scenic drive along Captain Cook Drive north to 1770 and magnificent fish plentiful waterways.
When the moon hangs over the ocean and an evening soundtrack of waves meets a sandy shore, Ohana is the paired back holiday cabin by the beach sure to evoke great memories and build plenty for the future
The property is not fenced however, well behaved small dogs can be accommodated. Room for the boat also.
