Our River Rock home is located on 8 acres in the woods down a one mile long country road lined with cow pastures only 6 miles from Tomball. The property has a large swimming pool, a brand new 4-6 person hot tub, an outdoor shower, and a large fire pit with 10 chairs and a picnic table. The house has a foosball table for those that want to have fun with friends and family. The back patio has a propane fire pit for calm relaxing nights. A charcoal grill is available for outdoor cooking. The property has a large grassy area perfect for children to run around and play outdoor games.

Our stay at the house was amazing. Annegret was very responsive when answering all our questions. The property is beautiful and well maintained with plenty to do. It was the perfect getaway from the city. I definitely plan of booking again.

It is just the most perfect property for being close to Spring, Cypress, Tomball and Houston and yet still feeling so “country” and private. The host was amazing to work with and communication was easy and friendly!! 5 stars from everyone who set foot her during my stay!!We will be back for sure!!

We loved this VRBO for our memorial day weekend/wedding guest weekend getaway! They had everything we needed on the property. The pool was amazing and perfect for the Houston heat. The house was very clean and stocked. We loved the windows and all the outdoor space so much! It was an oasis and perfect for relaxing/recharging.Host was so kind and quick to respond. We had no issues the whole trip- never wanted to leave! Highly recommend!!! :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Rock Cottage. The pool was large and perfect for relaxing, and the property had plenty of amenities that made everything convenient and enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly, and the space was just what we needed for a peaceful getaway. It was truly perfect, and we would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful property, secluded enough for privacy yet still close to restaurants, stores, etc. The hosts were also very easy to get a hold of and the home was very well stocked. We loved the pool!

I love this place, we come here every year. The property is absolutely beautiful. If you love wild life, serene surroundings and privacy, this is the place for you. I have seen deer, turtles, humming birds, gecko and dragon flies. Miles away from the ordinary. As you head down, a long quiet road to the property, you will pass a couple farms with horses and cows. This leads you into a different word, so close to Houston, an absolutely beautiful property and oasis. This is definitely my go to place. And they have added a new second washroom in the main house. I love this place, it makes me sad to go home afterwards. The pool is huge and spacious, my kids have learned how to swim here. On the opposite side of the house is a hot tub, so there can be privacy from others swimming in the main pool.This is also the first year that we rented the blue cottage for my son and his girlfriend to stay in. Beautiful as well. Love this place.

Upon arrival, we loved the country & seclusion. Beautiful trees and Rock Cottage was so much more than photos. Granddaughters spent time in spa & then a cool plunge into the pool. We loved the home and arrangement, well stocked kitchen, nice linens With extra pillows. We celebrated Christmas early and the home was beautifully decorated We really enjoyed the time spent.

We really enjoyed our 5-night stay. The property was well maintained and had plenty of outdoor space. The pool was great to cool off in the summer heat. I really liked how quiet it was and felt secluded but shopping was fairly close. It felt like home right down to newly potted plants and ferns. We would stay here again for our next visit to Texas.
