Great quiet, historical, charming cottage! We enjoyed having a kitchen to do our own meals. The outdoor fire pit was nice, and it was within walking distance to the shops in Mineral Point. Our “big event” was going to a performance at American Players Theater. We enjoyed our stay!
Had a great time exploring the driftless region from the hub of Mineral Point. Thanks for the accomodation!

What an amazing step back in time!! The history of this area and the buildings is really interesting and beautiful. Everything is so clean and well cared for. Wish we could have stayed longer but on our way north. Thanks for sharing this piece of our country’s history with us.
Really enjoyed staying in this historic home, very cozy, and we especially enjoyed the fire ring out back as well as the quiet neighborhood and close proximity to shops and restaurants…
We enjoyed this cozy cottage for one evening. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, fireplace, TV, comfortable bed, and stocked kitchen. Check in and out was easy thanks to the communication with the property owners. We enjoyed a local burger at Cow Tippers Pub, a delicious coffee from Wild Blue Yonder Coffeehouse. We would stay here again.
The cozy cottage is as described. The layout was little unusual with the kitchen upstairs with the bedrooms. The age of the cottage doesn't lend itself to central air and instead has units in various parts. They do run loud which was a little sleep disturbing. Overall, the cottage met our needs.
We enjoyed our stay. The house is historic and rustic. the town has lots to explore for such a small place. The Red Rooster was a good place for breakfast.
My bf and I had a great little getaway before the holidays staying in this cottage with some character. We loved it's location to both downtown Mineral Point and to towns nearby to visit House on the Rock and visit Governor Dodge State park for some winter hiking. Overall it was a lovely experience. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative as well.

Very comfortable stay. It gets a little warm in southwest bedroom, maybe some thicker curtains in that room
Part of the reason this property was chosen was its distance to Spring Green American Players Theater.
Our location was perfect for the restaurant and church attended.
Super cute and very close to downtown - able to walk everywhere.
