Hello, I really appreciate the review and the compliment about me personally, but honestly I’m not sure if I’m actually responding to Chandlyr or his assistant. I was only told the about 1 issue which that the dishwasher was clogged up (probably food on plates not rinsed properly before starting it) but there are 2 dishwashers right next to one another up there and we sent a repair man immediately. Only one was clogged. Every other issue wasn’t made known until after the 4th of July huge party when most guests had left and only by Chandlyr’s assistant via a text, as Chandlyr never wanted to speak with us directly so we could ask him exactly what happened since the assistance did not stay there personally. We asked for his number and weren’t allowed to talk to him directly according to the assistant who set the reservation up, and was my only point of contact. We went in and fixed those issues (a video/pics of these tiny things was also sent by her of extremely minor things such as the phone charger wouldn’t stay plugged in- if u adjust prongs on your device it’s that easy to fix but we replaced the whole outlet) and a very minor 30 second adjustment on the 1 of the 7 toilets, but they thought it was something major and so they were turning the water on and off for no reason. The freezer on second floor froze up, but again, we did not know there are 3 huge freezers in the house. We got 5 star reviews this entire summer by other guests who communicate if there are any, even tiny issues, which in an over 8k sf house can be hard to notice unless we are notified. That was not the case here, we were only told of the dishwasher, until after most guests but 1-2 already left. I unfortunately don’t know what is bothering people unless they tell me and not only that but we also refunded 2k once told, although we had no idea you had those minor issues. In fact, during your stay our pool guy (who also captains boats next door and tells us all feedback) was told by more than one person at the pool outside as he was cleaning, that everyone said they were having such a great time. No issues were mentioned to him either whatsoever. Items were left behind which we returned to their owners immediately by driving them across town ourselves. We found a toiletry bag and drove it back which took an hour there and back (and an expensive dress left in a closet that called a week later and had went and found it on the back master closet and had it returned also... I would not suggest renting to this group or his assistant as it felt like the assistant waited on purpose until afterwards to inform us (unless she just didn’t think it was important to tell us) and asked what are you going to do about this, so a refund could be issued, although they never told us anything! They seemed very happy- were driving Ferraris and Porsches, and apparently too good to speak directly to the peasants who own the house to let us know anything was wrong, so everything went through her, and she never even said her name so I had no idea I was not communicating with the actual guests even staying during our many emails and texts back and forth until after the party, none of which mentioned any issues except the 1 dishwasher. We bought a brand new one to be safe once they left, but most houses don’t have 2 to begin with. On top of it all we do not allow DJs or events of any kind typically bc Abnb doesn’t allow it and the neighbor gets very mad if people are loud outside but made an exception as it was the July 4th weekend (which we have loud fireworks anyway going right in front of the house all night bc it’s literally waterfront ) and wanted it to be really great for y’all. Thank you for the review and every was issue was fixed within one day, could’ve been fixed without bothering you during the stay quickly , and the refund for any inconveniences was issued the same day we got her text. Unfortunately y’all had left by then -all but again maybe 1-2 people. :( Reviews such as this which are so negative and are not completely true like this are unfair and hurt our small family business so anyone reading this, I strongly urge you to read reviews from all my other groups before taking this to heart ( as our house is absolutely NOT falling apart. The rocks next to pool are not supposed to be walked on either. Thanks again and I apologize that’s how you felt. I truly wish you could’ve let us know and it could’ve been fixed in no time, all while you were out on the boat next door. We even have an on-site manager which as they checked into the boat (told them again and asked so if they had any problems and gave the group another office number to reach her also if I was not able to be reached right away.) Another woman in your group said she would absolutely stay again to my husband when he asked her, said our home was beautiful, and would rent it again. Then we only got a very surprising text after it was all said and done wanting a refund for things unknown to us:( Sincerely, Angel

Hi Macey, I'm very sorry that the pool had to be shocked while you were there (they come every Wednesday) but the towels and bedding were definitely all clean that were in the house, we just have so many extra sheets and towels for accommodating up to 26 guests that the maid cannot physically have them all dry if they were all used when there's only a 5 hour turn around in between renters so occasionally there will be some still drying. This is the first I've heard anything about complaints (or for that fact ever) and it's 8 months after you stayed with us :(. I really wish you'd have notified me earlier if you were not happy. I'm glad you still enjoyed the view and the boat rental next door. Thank you for the feedback as I will definitely have a talk with the cleaving service. Sincerely, Angel

There are 4 separate AC units in this home because it is so large and only 1 unit that controlled the very back far 2nd floor smallest room in the house went out unfortunately (as things do break!) but we had it replaced immediately. The so called cobwebs were all removed within an hour of check in, but being a very big WATERFRONT lake mansion with the spiders so bad this year it’s impossible to not have any! Like they say, even the kings castle has spiders:) The hot water heater had simply been turned off by the last renters for some unknown reason lol, but hey when it rains it pours so I’m sorry all these issues compounded when your face ily came. We have consistent happy 5 star reviews and I do apologize immensely that you were not completely satisfied. You did mention the view was amazing though- something that luckily can’t break since it’s not man-made! Well, the lake is actually man-made but the beauty wasn’t. Thank you for staying with us and I do hope you will reconsider this review, knowing that every house will occasionally have issues and I have of course already had them all corrected (spent over 20k fixing every issue and contractors working day and night) We tried to do everything I could to make your family happy and welcome. Replied Hi Tim, While I appreciate the constructive criticism I am very upset about the bad review you left considering I never heard once from y’all about anything and if you were unhappy I would have gladly sent the maid in again. The big master actually even sprayed during your stay so I guess you guys aren’t used to lake properties bc there’s not much more you can do to get rid of spiders and water bugs than we are already doing... we are on a monthly program and if what they’re doing isn’t working I simply would appreciate y’all telling me so I could’ve sent them in twice during your stay. Also I am very taken back by y’all saying the sheets were not clean especially because that’s how I know your review was over the top not fair as my older sister from Dallas who works at the hospital and is OCD on cleanliness had literally left that morning and I helped them take all sheets and towels downstairs which the maid washed and put back on the beds before y’all arrived. I allowed y’all to bring your 2 dogs and your 2 boats, use the boat ramp and our docks which is not part of the house rental and that’s not something we normally do. I’m just very sad that you never communicated any of this with me. We have a huge commercial ice machine next door and bring free ice over at any request but again never heard a peep from y’all. I have 2 very young daughters and we are barely baking the mortgage payment on this 22 acre multi million dollar property with what we charge so the rate is solely based on the cost of the place as it is. This review will most definitely hurt us more than you can imagine. I will update the furniture just as soon as funds will allow us to do so. We bought it already furnished from Mike McCarthy the head coach only 4 years ago and it has already been being used as a vacation rental. We simply can’t afford to do more especially when we’ve been shut down (all 4 businesses we own) from covid. I do hope you’d consider updating your review to be a little more fair bc while I do agree that the house could use a make over, it was a little harsh saying we don’t take pride in it and most of all even saying the sheets were not clean bc they definitely were clean and I can vouch for that 100% above all!:( Thank you for staying with us (sorry to hear you’ll never want to return to such a gorgeous spot in nature) and I truly wish you would’ve voiced any concerns and I would’ve sent the whole crew in to fix anything you wanted instead of le
