Angel Fire getaway

Never received check in info, had to call upon arrival. Room was dirty, toilet was leaking and mattress In master bedroom was HORRIBLE! Would be nice to invest in upkeep of property.

Not a good experience at all

The location on this condo is not accurate. I chose this condo based on the map on VRBO’s app however when we arrived in Angel Fire it was not the same location. Instead of being up the mountain a bit in the trees it is at a main intersection with the view of construction. I couldn’t get ahold of the host (in fact I still haven’t been able to talk to whoever owns the condo…) I did talk to “evolve” in which they pretty much let me know that they don’t share locations of rentals for privacy so there’s nothing they can do about the wrong location being listed. I might understand that if it were a block or two off but MILES off on the location is unacceptable. The actual property was clean. I appreciated that!

Double booked/did not happen!!!!

I rented this property months ago for a Spring Break ski trip with my grandchildren. We arrived in Angel Fire to find that the code to the keyless entry we were provided did not work and the key in lockbox was missing. I contacted the owner as specified in the instructions. She stated she would call me back...that did not occur that date and has not to this date (5 days later). I did receive a call from the rental management company (Evolve) and an email stating they had double booked, were issuing a refund and to call if I needed them to assist in finding another place. I was not impressed with how they handled this situation so I told them I would locate my own place to stay. I use VRBO when I travel often and have never had an issue such as this. I am as well confused as to why the rental management company switched to Evolve...I will never use them!!!!! I as well have never had an issue with any owners in the past and typically rate them very high! Esmeralda, the owner of a condo within the Gold Dust Condos in Angel Fire (I am not allowed to apparently specify the unit number that I rented) is subpar and I don’t believe even deserves 1 star at this point. The good news...we went onto Colorado...found incredible lodging and the grandchildren had a blast!

It was a short walk and as close as the outer parking! Wished we had known it was a dual level with bedrooms upstairs. We were a bit surprised by that news. But we came home for a hot lunch each day and it was awesome!

Excellent Location

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The pictures make the place appear much larger than it is. The third bedroom is a closed in patio. The amenities are nice and the location is fabulous to the resort and dining options. My only concern is that the common areas - walkways - are not cleared. This is a hazard for anyone walking through the property to get to the condo.

Conveniently close to slopes

The condo was nice but smaller than I thought based on the pictures. The furniture was nice and bedding was comfortable. The downstairs toilet didn’t work well so we avoided using it. Christmas in angel fire was beautiful!
