In the heart of the beautiful Hocking Hills, awaits a luxury escape to Appalachia Mountain Heaven, where every room provides a rustic yet elegant feel. Mount Olive is a fully renovated, spacious, 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath cabin structure of over 3,500 sq. ft. This cabin is the ideal getaway for a comfortable couples retreat or a large family gathering. This hidden gem is also known for its superior outdoor entertainment space of over 2,000 sq. ft., including expansive decks and patios, and a fully covered outdoor game room, featuring a large wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV and Bluetooth sound system. Situated on 10 acres of private land, this extravagant cabin has everything you need and much more. Whether you need to unwind in the peacefulness of the hills, or partake and be close to the numerous attractions the Hocking Hills has to offer, Mount Olive has it all to be your perfect home away from home.

Things to note:
- Renter must be 30 years of age or older to rent Mount Olive.
- Renter must provide a valid driver’s license copy that includes date of birth.
- Renter must agree to review and sign Rental Agreement (see attachment at end of booking process). Agreement will again be emailed to Renter after booking is accepted for electronic signature.
- Renter agrees to provide refundable $1,000 security deposit in the form of a "Pre-Authorization Hold" to Renter's credit card on file. Hold will be processed against Renter's credit card on file 24 hours prior to scheduled check-in.
- As the responsible member of your group, Renter will be responsible for anything that occurs during the stay. Renter must be present at Check-in and throughout the duration of the rental period.
- Rates vary on time of year and number of guests (Base Rate 10 guests). To ensure an accurate quote, please select the exact number of persons you plan to bring in the booking engine. If you don't have an exact guest count, feel free to book for the base number of guests (10) and modify your reservation to add guests as you get closer to your arrival date (limited to maximum occupancy of 17). Each additional guest above the base occupancy would incur an additional $25/night + 13.25% sales & lodging tax.

Would Rent Again!

This is a beautiful cabin in a gorgeous and secluded setting. We were especially thrilled with the basement gameroom and the out door gameroom where we were able to have a fire in the fireplace because it was to rainy to have one at the fire pit. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen of any cabin we've stayed at and the hot tub was enjoyed as well. There was more than adequate parking and it was only about fifteen minutes to Hocking HIlls Park.We would definitely rent this cabin again!

Great place to stay with large families.

Everyone in my family said this is the best place to stay at and we been to many VRBO. Plenty of room for 9 people. We had wonderful weather and did a lot of hiking around Hocking Hills. We came from Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Cleveland and Columbus. Best time of year to go in May before Memorial day.

Christmas at Hocking Hills

Arrived at property first appearance was perfect. House was clean, beautiful and so peaceful. The Christmas tree was what we hoped to find. Was able to spend weekend with my adult children and grandchildren under the same roof with plenty of room and things to do. Will definitely stay here again. Easy process to book and check in. Management company was also super friendly and made it all so easy!

The property was absolutely beautiful!

We all enjoy our stay at the Mount Olive lodge. The property was very well maintained. The center air/heating unit stopped working while we were there but the problem was quickly resolved by calling Ashley. The maintenance department worked immediately to resolve the issue. We look forward to going again in the future.

Family getaway

We decided this year instead of getting each other Christmas gifts, that we would just put the money toward a weekend at Hocking Hills. It was the best idea ever and this house was absolutely perfect! We loved the open layout and the game room. We wish it would have been warmer to enjoy the deck, but we will just have to come back in the summer or fall! The property manager was very quick to answer any questions that I had. I HIGHLY recommend this property

Christmas present

Each year I arrange a weekend away for my family for their Christmas present. I want to make memories with my family and your cabin delivered that 100%. The entertainment area was fantastic. The cabin comes with everything you need and I was shocked to find baby gates in the closet after my daughter forgot there’s for my grandsons. Thank you for an absolute wonderful weekend. I highly recommend families or friends staying here. You will love it!!!

We loved this house!!

We had a great time, the house was very clean and organized and the hot tub was HUGE! It was nice having all of the outdoor activities and the basement activities to keep us busy the whole weekend. We loved the outdoor Bluetooth speakers . The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! Our only complaint is that there were no mirrors in any bedrooms which made getting ready rough with so many people. Otherwise, great property!!

Property was very nice and well equipped. It would have been better if we had been warned that the tap water was not very drinkable/cookable, as if had a smell of Sulphur. If that information was in the online materials, I didn't' see it. I feel that we were well serviced.

Had an amazing time

This was our second year staying at this property. It is perfect for the size of our family. A couple of things for improvement are 1. figuring out how to balance the temperature throughout the house. One thermostat produces very hot sections of the house but comfortable temperatures in other areas. This is especially an issue in the middle of the night. Some bedrooms were like Sanas and others had a good night's sleep. Something very minor is the shuffleboard table is not level which produces some friendly disputes for some of the more competitive members of the family. Overall GREAT experience. Love the outdoor game area.

Great place to stay for family fun. However way too many signage saying what you can and cant do. Also nickel and diming for "extra" people when house holds 17 but have to pay more for over 10. Just make it easy and charge one price. Thanks.

House was great. Clean, nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of room and beautiful views. Only glitch was the house was not habitable the first day due to water issue. Owners did a good job of finding a cabin nearby, but it was smaller and very inconvenient.

What a lovely cabin! This place was fully stocked, and had such a great setup for our families! We were close for hikes, but also far enough from the main traffic. Weather was perfect to enjoy the outdoor fireplace and off the road enough to let the kids just play. Only negative thing we have to say is the oven isn't very efficient so things took longer to bake - but we adapted once we knew that would be the case. We went with 2 additional families and all agreed we would book the same cabin again because it was so lovely.

2025 family vacation

All 16 of us were happily situated in the home for our week long family vacation. Conveniently located near wonderful Hocking Hills hikes. Wonderful picnic tables in the dining room for meals and games. And outside seating worked well, too. The fire ring for s’mores was a kid favorite.

Such a relaxing and cozy cabin weekend!

All the space and the decks and games everywhere. It was a gorgeous view even when we came and there were no leaves on the trees yet! Only 15 minutes away from Old Man's Cave. The hot tub was also a huge hit with the nieces and nephews!!

A wonderful beautiful place for a large group!

There were 10 of us friends that wanted someplace to go and just have a few days away from the hustle and bustle of this life. We found paradise! Mt. Olive had ample room for all of us. The kitchen is well stocked, everything was clean and there were games inside and out. Pool table, Foosball, shuffleboard etc. There were two long tables that we could all sit at to eat, or play board games. It was a wonderful accommodation and close to some main hiking trails. We are all looking forward to booking this place again soon! P.S. The people we worked with were excellent, efficient and friendly. You won't be disappointed! Linda Littell
