Mini Vacation

The condo was very nice and clean, and well equipped. The pools were very nice! Probably a little further away from our condo than expected, but very clean & spacious. No internet, without paying for it, which made my 17 year olds upset, but it didn't hurt them to be without it in the condo! We did try the river access that comes with the resort. It was pretty well dried up (I know this has nothing to do with the rental - it is just a FYI). All in all, we had a good stay.

Beautiful property

The condo was just as advertised in the listing and was more than enough space for our family of 4. The amazing views from around the resort exceeded our expectations! The pool was awesome, resort staff was very friendly. We had an issue with the shower handle not turning properly and the resort staff came out right away to replace it! A few things I would have liked to be cleaned a little better but there was nothing that affected our stay and we would highly recommend this property and we would stay again!

Repeat stays at Stablewood Springs and we’d do it again!

To be specific - we adore this Hill Country location in Hunt, TX. It is relaxing and remote while being convenient to stores, entertainment & fun for a whole week! Lots of amenities to keep kids ( elementary thru adult) happy & busy. Accommodations are very clean and comfortable - more spacious than a hotel - with everything you need to cook or run laundry for a crowd. We love the pools & hot tub and extra activities & games provided by the resort. Sunsets at the pool are worth everything. Host answered my concerns & questions in a friendly and timely matter. Private River access was no longer available as in previous stays but we found nearby alternatives and still had a lovely very fun week in Hunt! We will absolutely do it again! Thank you to our host for helping us make family memories in plenty of comfort!

Not a cozy place away from the crowd

Property was larger than I thought it would be (16 buildings?). Apartment walls were thin, my wife heard someone snoring late one night in the next apartment. No place in the property to get even bottled water or fountain drink. Nearest places for food/drinks over 2 miles away and many closed during long holiday weekend. Recreation area is very nice but overcrowded. It worked ok for us because we are moving to the area and we wanted to check out the area.

Beautiful resort! The only thing I was disappointed with was that the pool with the slide was down for 2 days. The only swimming area available was very small. Once it opened up things were better. Staff was friendly and the rooms were very nice!

Beautiful getaway

This was a gorgeous spot to get away with my closest girl friends. The drive up was incredible, with a gorgeous view of the hill country. The resort did not disappoint and was extremely clean and organized w everything we needed for our stay. The front desk was also very quick to respond to anything we needed.

Loved the resort property!

The condo was very spacious and clean. Had a little issue with checking in, was told check-in was at 4pm but the room wasn't ready until 4:30pm. My husband and I went for early morning walks and the view for the sunrise and sunset were amazing. Only other little hiccup, the property is not anywhere near access to the actual Guadalupe River but overall I would recommend this resort.

Great place to visit

Besides the far location, it was one of the most beautiful places to visit in Texas. Very spacious and clean suite. Lovely landscapes. Nice pools. Fredericksburg vineyards are close. San Antonio (80 min), Austin (120 min).
