This traditional Alentejo house has been extensively renovated and modernized. Its two bedrooms (one with double bed, the other with 2 twin beds) can accommodate up to 4 people, making it ideal for 1 or 2 couples or a small family. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, bathroom, and living room. Relax on the large newly-finished tiled terrace under the shade of orange trees and enjoy the panoramic view over fields and rolling hills. Located on a hill above Cercal in a semi-rural area, Casa Antonie ā€“ Sarita offers privacy and space to relax. Close to town, spectacular beaches, walking trails, and longer hikes. Located near to many other small towns for you to explore. Casa Antonie ā€“ Sarita is an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday on the terrace and visiting amazing nearby beaches or as a base to explore the quiet, authentic Portuguese countryside.

It is a wonderful stay, I would have loved to rent it even longer

The cottage is equipped with every comfort and it is very cosily furnished. The terrace and the view are amazing! You don't want to leave it anymore. The neighbors are sweet and caring, if you come here alone you will not feel lonely. You can make nice walks in the countryside and the beaches are quickly and easily accessible. I recommend everyone to stay here :-)

You will fall in love

The house breaths rest and peace. Relaxing on the terras and enjoying the view will certainly become your new hobby. You can make beautiful country walks, visit the Bica Santa or drink a Portugese coffee in town. And in just 20 minutes drive by car you can visit serveral nice beaches. So realy a very nice place to be!

Schlimmer Zustand des Hauses und TƤuschung der Mieter

Wir hatten das Ferienhaus fĆ¼r 10 Tage gemietet. Leider mussten wir am 4. Tag aus dem Haus auf ausdrĆ¼ckliche Bitte der Besitzerin ausziehen, weil sich ein Schaden an der Toilette nicht beheben lieƟ. Wir hatten 3 Tage nasse FĆ¼ĆŸe im Bad und eine Menge zu tun mit Telefonaten und Vereinbarungen mit verschiedenen Ansprechpartnern plus viel Freude am hƤufigen Aufwischen des Bodens. Die Hausbesitzerin hatte uns telefonisch am 3. Tag kontaktiert. Sie bat uns, eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen, da ihr 75 jƤhriger vor Ort lebender Cousin den Schaden trotz mehrfacher BemĆ¼hungen nicht beheben konnte. Eine Fachkraft konnte nicht organisiert werden. Wir vereinbarten mit der Besitzerin, dass wir die Miete fĆ¼r das Haus aufgrund der SchƤden und Unannehmlichkeiten komplett erstattet bekommen. TatsƤchlich Ć¼berwies sie uns Wochen spƤter, nur auf Druck sowie mehrfacher Nachfragen und Bitten etwa die HƤlfte des Betrages und erzƤhlte darĆ¼ber hinaus gegenĆ¼ber Fewo-Direkt LĆ¼gengeschichte Ć¼ber uns: Wir hƤtten aus dem Ferienhaus ausziehen wollen, die Toilette sei bereits repariert gewesen und wir hƤtten HandtĆ¼cher ruiniert. Im Ɯbrigen war das Haus nicht richtig gesƤubert worden, Ć¼berall waren Haare, das Sofa hat schlimm nach SchweiƟ bzw. KƶrperausdĆ¼nstungen von fremden Menschen gerochen. Der Umgang mit uns als GƤsten ist eine UnverschƤmtheit, das Verhalten der Besitzerin muss als TƤuschung und Betrug bezeichnet werden.

Nice house with relaxed ambient in rural environment

Het was een geweldig verblijf in dit gezellige, ruime huis in deze prachtige omgeving van Alentejo. Het dorp Cercal de Alentejo biedt alles wat men nodig heeft: cafƩs, supermarkten (4!), een slager, een bakker en diverse eetgelegenheden. De spectaculaire rotskust met de stranden van plaatsjes als vila nova de milfontes en porto covo zijn op 15-20 min. rijden.

Off the tourist track hidden gem

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was spotlessly clean. Kitchen fully stocked. Large terrace has 2 large orange trees for shade. If you are wanting to be 25 mins away from the most beautiful beaches in the world then home to a friendly neighbourhood that is very quiet and peaceful, this is your place. Off the tourist track, Rita's place is a hidden gem. Communication was excellent, the house managers met us at 1am to let us upon arrival and any issues we had (oven wasn't working) were resolved immediately. The water pump is loud and intimidating at first but you get use to it very quickly and soon don't notice it. The picture do not do the terrace justice, it was large and child friendly. We hope to return to your beautiful place one day. Note.... There is no internet, air-conditioning or no washing machine (available for use). There are several laundrettes a few mins drive into town though. We borrowed a fan from the house managers as we were there during high 30 - mid 40's. The house kept cool enough closed up during the heat of the day.

Ein fĆ¼r uns perfektes Ferienhaus

Das Haus bietet alles, was wir von einem individuellen Aufenthalt erwarten. Bei der Ausstattung des Hauses fehlt es an nichts. Auch die Terrasse lƤdt zu jeder Tageszeit zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefĆ¼hlt und kommen sehr gern wieder!
