This well-worn family home is spacious, airy and well-equipped to host large families with children. While slightly dated and just a tiny bit musty, the house is clean, tidy and orderly. The plumbing in the showers is especially nice. Definitely a great place if you have a large group.

Thank you for a great stay!

We came for over a week stay in Portland for a softball tournament with my big family. We had 6 adults and 6 kids staying with us and this house fit us all well. There were plenty of beds and the four bedrooms fit my kids and family well. Good communication with the host.

Spacious house

The large house with 3 bathrooms and spacious kitchen fit our extended family well. Gloria was very responsive when high winds knocked out internet service to the house.

Spacious, comfortable & homey

A co-worker and I are remote workers and came to Portland for a week to work on-site in our corporate office. We prefer to stay in vacation rentals vs hotels and Gloria's home was perfect. It is large, comfortable and homey. The Wi-Fi worked great. Gloria had the house well stocked with all of the necessities. The house is located on a pretty busy street, but it was convenient to the highway. Our check-in was very easy and Gloria graciously checked on us upon arrival (via messaging). Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Garden and Space

Gloria’s home provided exactly what my family and I were looking for when we visited the Portland/Gresham area. Her home was spacious enough for me to work remotely, space for my niece and nephew to run around and my family to all hang out and play games. The garden was beautiful and you can tell a lot of time and effort went into creating it.

Fine house poorly equipped

We chose this house for the Western Zone swimming championships and was very convenient being 10 minutes from the Mt Hood Community College. The house was clean and well laid out but very poorly equipped. There were 4 bath towels total in the house and no wash clothes or dish rags. We found 2 dish towels. Aside from plates, utensils and mugs the kitchen contained 2 pots, 1 pan, a colander and 1 bowl; there was nothing to use to cook in the oven. With 3 14 year old competitive swimmers meals were very challenging to say the least, there wasn't even a salt or pepper shaker. Some of the mattresses were in need of replacement. Overall we managed to get by but the lack of basic functionality in the kitchen will keep us from going back.

I am sorry that you are not able to find our supplies. We have hosted groups as large as 12 person so we have plenty of the supply. We have stocked at least 15 bath towels and many wash cloth and hand towels in the bathrooms vanity. We washed at least 8-10 towels after you check out. The baking pans are inside the drawer under the oven. Two extra dish rags are inside the kitchen cabinets drawers, I wish you would have asked us if you can’t find them. Other than the king size mattress and the futon, all the other four mattress are bought brand new two months ago.

Fantastic retreat in Portland!

A short drive from Portland, but far enough out to enjoy a quiet retreat. Beautiful house and a well-maintained, mature landscape. Check in process was easy and Gloria was very responsive and helpful. Plenty of room for my group of 10 and so very comfortable! Highly recommended.

You are welcome to pick whatever ripe during your stay. Welcome to our house and treat it the same way as you would as your own home.
