The cottage has been completely redone inside and out. New landscaping and a huge cookout area with a grill and picnic table make the outdoor space beautiful. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening as you watch the sun set behind the mountains.

This cottage is close to ATV trails, mountain biking, a paved bike path and fishing. It is easy to get to from I-70. It is a family friendly and pet friendly home.

Very clean and well appointed cottage! Our favorite part was actually the fact that there are disc golf baskets and discs available! We are avid disc golfers and had no idea this would be included. Host was very responsive. Rooms are very comfortable. Would stay again!

The host was great and the place was nice and clean. However, there were no pots or pans only baking pans and the fire pit wasn't as pictured. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. Note: 3 rather intimidating dogs from i don't know where kept showing up and i had my granddaughter with me. It was really uncomfortable

We had a great time on our 1st Vrbo experience. The Monroe house was a comfy & clean little house. Very nicely decorated. The host was very helpful and quick to reply. The area was a great base for all our exploring. Definitely saving this place for future trips.

Our version of camping

We booked this house to be close to family camping at Castle Rock in the Freemont Indian State Park. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was close to Mystic Hot Springs, which was so fun. I would recommend this house.

I am a retired educator and host 3 different vacation home. I love to travel and host visitors to our community. We enjoy creating homes that families love to visit.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this home in December 2018 and began a total renovation of the inside. It had been an amazing home in it's day and we wanted to maintain its character and bring it back to life with modern amenities. It has new systems throughout with new furniture and appliances. We will have everything ready for guests in mid June. We want you to see this cozy cottage in our little town and be totally comfortable. The work is still in progress with improvements being made each week.
