Picked this place purely on the great photos that are posted with this ad. WAS VERY dissapointed that we found we had NO view of the BRIDGE from our room, I didn't realise that its acually a BLOCK of flats and NOT just the ONE flat being advertised, but after cooling my heels for a day, still had a great stay, have been to Sydney many times AND this is THE location
This is a great property, one of those ones that makes you think "I could live here". It's only a 5 minute walk to a bunch of cool places (Circular Quay, the Rocks, the CBD, and the Bangaroo Reserve), has a nice view out the windows, nice modern bathroom with washer and drier, quiet neighbors, plenty to eat nearby, etc. You will need to climb 3 flights of steps to get into the apartment, in addition to the uphill walk from every direction to get to the place, so make sure you're in shape if you book it.
The only thing that was slightly misleading from the listing is the photos of the bridge taken from the balcony. The apartment itself has no view of the bridge, but there is a shared balcony in the hallway opposite the apartment with those great views. The balcony in the apartment has a nice view of the observatory and the Sydney skyline.
Overall, a great little place for a good deal. I would come back at the drop of a dime.
