Chanticleer Gardens' Barn Cottage is a barn conversion into a Hampton’s style Cottage. It sits at the rear of a English styled garden in the Arcadia/Dural district of Sydney
It offers a swimming pool approx 50 metres from the cottage for use.
It oozes romance and that weekend “getaway to the country” feel and is ideal for a group of friends wanting to escape the city or a family stay.
This country retreat offers a two bedroom cottage with two bathrooms, an large open plan kitchen, dinning and the cathedral ceiling lounge-room has a fireplace to snuggle around in winter. It is fully airconditioned.
Cafe style windows and French doors open onto an expansive covered verandah with views of a magnificent garden and rural acreage.
It is separated and secluded from the main residence, by a long avenue of Golden Elm Trees.
The pool is situated within the main residence and is for guests only..
It sleeps 6 + adults comfortably or 4 adults plus up to 3 children
The Queen Rose bedroom sleeps 2 with an extra bed possible for a small child.
The 2nd bedroom is the Cockatoo Studio and can be arranged as a king bed with a single sofa bed or an extra single or 4 singles altogether.
The lounge has a double sofa bed and another single is possible.
The Barn cottage has been designed to allow accommodation for 6 holiday guests
or with a Bridal Pre-wedding package it can sleep up to 7
(see Below For special occasions hire)
Packages:
We welcome small events such as bridal showers, birthday parties and small micro weddings with up to 16-20 guests including those staying in the accommodation.
As this is a separate category and classified as a Venue Hire not just accommodation it requires a two day book @750/night.
Bridal Showers are welcome but without "extra artists" such as wine waiters or strippers.
Photographers and videographers are welcome but No Drones please.
Commercial Hire of Chanticleer Gardens for filming or photography cannot be booked on this accommodation platform.

Peter and I bought Chanticleer Gardens in 2003 when it was a small hobbyist alpaca farm.
We love gardens and immediately set about turning our 5 acre rural property into an award winning English style garden. 20 years later as it reaches maturity is has become a very appealing place to come for a retreat or to host a small event.
4 years ago we decide to turn the last remaining paddocks into the rear courtyard garden and convert the barn into a Hamptoms cottage.
This has created a beautiful space to host your own wedding or small celebratory occasion or just a weekend getaway.
We converted the Barn into a two bedroom Hamptons style cottage, while retaining the barn doors so that our tree-lined avenue becomes a focal point for a wedding ceremony.
We are on the outskirts of Sydney, a 50 minute drive from the CBD and surrounded by other rural properties such as orchards and horse studs.
All events that are hosted on our property are daytime only; 10.30am -6pm and must be arranged through us first.

As the Wedding Preparation can be a mini event in itself, we decided to offer a package that includes a small function for family and the bridal party the night before as well as access for multiple visitors throughout the day of the wedding.
Chanticleer Gardens is a great space to prepare for your wedding day and The Pre-Wedding Package includes two nights stay.
The bride and maids on the first night with access for family members, photographer, beauticians and hairdresser (up to 20 ) people onto the property to prepare for the wedding day.
The first night allows a small bbq or similar dinner function with family and bridal party.
There's room for that stretch "limo" to park and turn around.
The second night is for the wedding night with the full cottage for your honeymoon.
Only the bridal couple or 6 family guests have access to the cottage on the second night.
This doesn't allow for an after party or wedding ceremony.
