Chanticleer Gardens' Barn Cottage is a barn conversion into a Hampton’s style Cottage. It sits at the rear of a English styled garden in the Arcadia/Dural district of Sydney
It offers a swimming pool approx 50 metres from the cottage for use.
It oozes romance and that weekend “getaway to the country” feel and is ideal for a group of friends wanting to escape the city or a family stay.
This country retreat offers a two bedroom cottage with two bathrooms, an large open plan kitchen, dinning and the cathedral ceiling lounge-room has a fireplace to snuggle around in winter. It is fully airconditioned.
Cafe style windows and French doors open onto an expansive covered verandah with views of a magnificent garden and rural acreage.
It is separated and secluded from the main residence, by a long avenue of Golden Elm Trees.
The pool is situated within the main residence and is for guests only..
It sleeps 4 adults comfortably or 2 adults plus up to 3 children
The Queen Rose bedroom sleeps 2 .
The 2nd bedroom is the Cockatoo Studio with a queen bed
The lounge has two sofas.
The Barn cottage has been designed to allow accommodation for 4 holiday guests.

Peter and I bought Chanticleer Gardens in 2003 when it was a small hobbyist alpaca farm.
We love gardens and immediately set about turning our 5 acre rural property into an award winning English style garden. 20 years later as it reaches maturity is has become a very appealing place to come for a retreat or to host a small event.
4 years ago we decide to turn the last remaining paddocks into the rear courtyard garden and convert the barn into a Hamptoms cottage.
This has created a beautiful space to host your own wedding or small celebratory occasion or just a weekend getaway.
We converted the Barn into a two bedroom Hamptons style cottage, while retaining the barn doors so that our tree-lined avenue becomes a focal point for a wedding ceremony.
We are on the outskirts of Sydney, a 50 minute drive from the CBD and surrounded by other rural properties such as orchards and horse studs.
All events that are hosted on our property are daytime only; 10.30am -6pm and must be arranged through us first.
