Despite hurricane Erin trying to wreck our plans, we had a wonderful stay. The house had so many amenities to keep us busy. The pool was used especially when we couldn’t get to the beach. We were able to use the well equipped kitchen a lot and had a few days of beautiful sunsets.

A perfect beach rental!

Absolutely beautiful home & location!! This home checked all of our boxes for an LBI beach vacation! On the bay, with a pool, & a short 1 block walk to the beach. It was so clean and spacious. Kitchen is amazing, the views from all of the balconies were just fantastic! There were So many things to do on the property, we barely left! We certainly will rent this home again!!

Beautiful and spacious

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Ship Bottom. The house was clean and roomy. The views were very nice. All the extras beach chairs and bikes came in handy. We all had a hard time finding the driveway to the house which is between two businesses. Once inside this beautiful house, you can relax and enjoy the pool, hot tub, and views of the bay. There was plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen/dining room. There were two full sized beds which was a nice surprise but I didn't bring sheets for that bed because it wasn't on the furnishings list. I was expecting an extra twin instead of a full bed. We ate in most of the time and could have used a few more large pots though we made do with what was there. Every appliances are top of the line and made us feel like royalty. The convenience of having two dishwashers and two refrigerators was very nice when you have a large group. There were plenty of glasses, dishes, utensils and silverware. We loved the decor of the house and would stay there again.

Exceeding ALL expectations

This home checked all the boxes for us. We stayed there with another full family with eleven people. Everything in this home is new, upscale, comfortable and durable. The design is light and bright, casual and beachy but is upscale and durable. Upon arrival, the main living area boasts spectacular views of the stunning bay cove and we were instantly relaxed. We have rented other homes directly on the bay, but having the bay cove, near a no wake zone, offers much more tranquil waters. This home has new hard wood flooring all throughout and feels soft to walk on without shoes. It was beautifully furnished, and offered every possible amenity for us. The location is between the bay and a short one block walk to the beach. It's close enough to walk for ice cream, activities, shopping, or out for a nice dinner. If you'd rather not walk, plenty of bikes are provided for a longer leisurely journey. There is so much to do in the backyard alone; from swimming, hot tubbing, fishing or crabbing on the docks and much more. They provided paddle boards, kayaks, beach gear, pool gear and the ability to bring your own boat if needed. We were treated to magical sunsets every evening with plenty of viewing opportunities from multiple deck levels. The roof top deck is spacious and provides both ocean and bay views. We sat eleven people on the deck table but could easily fit more. There is Sonos sound system on every level that makes it easy to connect and listen anywhere. We enjoyed making meals together in the gourmet kitchen and grilling downstairs on the patio while we all hung out in the lower-level bar/ lounge area near the pool and hot tub. In the evening, we opened up the back of the home called the Nanawall, like a pane of glass doors, and could breathe in the refreshing salt air. The bedrooms were beautiful decorated, with new beds, top of the line bathrooms and spacious with very comfortable bedding and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Out of the six bedrooms, four had on upscale bathrooms. The two other upscale bathrooms were centrally located on each floor. The six bedrooms and six bathrooms really helped. Our family enjoyed this home immensely. We can't thank Ron and Alesia enough for their quick responses to any questions, going above and beyond for their guests and providing a truly magical end of summer experience in their lovely home. We look forward to making this a new tradition. THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic weekend

It has taken a while to review our stay in this LBI home We found a true gem. The home was more than described and we could not have a better time, a chance for my wife and family could get together during Covid 19, the home was spotless clean and everything was as described or better, the views from the deck, outdoor bar and dock are fantastic. The frosting on the cake was arriving to find a nice bottle of wine to make our stay more enjoyable. A truly great time was had by all. The owner could not have been any more accomodating. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Vacation 9/2020

We all had a great time! The only thing is it was not ready for our 3 check in! When we did get in there was. I welcome gift as in years past! Instead we were welcomed with dishes in dishwasher, looked like someone spilled something and didn’t clean doors where washer dryer is! I would suggest making sure vent above cleaning supply door gets cleaned on an ongoing basis. We cleaned dust off vent! Fan in living room needs cleaned! Brush under bed in bedroom next to bathroom and empty water bottle behind dresser in that room as well! Found outdoor couch in disarray and trash outside as well as a used mask! I just think with COVID it would have been cleaned better! But otherwise we all really enjoyed the use of the hot tub and kayaks! P S my hubby put new string on ring game!

Bay and outside areas were very nice (but noisy), inside was not very clean and worn out.

Pros: The bay and outside areas (deck, yard) are great, super fun, relaxing and beautiful. Lots of extras that were great, kayaks, bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards. Close to the beach. Cons: House was not well cleaned when we arrived. Food on the floors, spills on the drawers and couches, old coffee in the coffee maker, hair on the sinks and in showers, ripped screens, junk left behind in drawers, used silverware under the bedroom nightstand. I stayed up until 2am disinfecting everything and mopping several times to get the dirt up. Pre-pandemic i would have been mildly annoyed - but in the middle of a pandemic and vacationing with my parents and children, i was afraid to have them touch anything before it was disinfected. I was hoping more attention would be spent on cleaning during these times. The owners did offer to send the cleaning person back on sunday - but by that point i had cleaned everything, so it didn’t make much sense. Other cons were the noise, both from the street and the golf course. The music at the golf course starts at 8:15am and goes on until after 11, and people tend to get very loud and excited when they do well at mini-golf. Last, i was under the impression that the yard was fenced, except for the bayside, but the yard is open to the street too - which just made watching a 2yo a little harder, not too big a deal, just a little harder with little kids. Overall we had a nice trip and enjoyed ourselves, but sleeping was hard unless all the windows were shut tight and the initial cleanliness was a problem.

Great location for both the bay and beach on LBI.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this fully equipped house located on a private cove off the bay. The house is conveniently located just one short block from the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats on the bay. There is a large area around the house for your family to enjoy yard games or soak up the sun. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to cook meals. Many beach chairs and toys are available for your use. Alesia was very quick to reply to our questions. Everyone in our party would gladly rent this property again.

Excellent vacation. We enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the bay, the kayaking, and the close proximity to the beach. Although we stayed during a tropical storm and lost power for a day, Alicia was available and was very helpful.

A little piece of paradise

This place was everything listed and then some! The living space was larger than we thought and this home had everything needed to make our stay complete. Being on the bay, Ferrara's Bakery across the street and the beach a few houses down from that, along with beautiful sunsets, who could ask for anything more?!! AWESOME!

We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable/relaxing vacation. The location was great - We didn't have to get in a the car the whole week as there was so much to do within walking distance. The house had everything we needed and the great places to relax in the sun and in the shade! Best vacation we've had in a long time!

Labor Day Week with Family & Friends

What a lovely property! The listing; both pictures and what is included was exactly as stated. The house has every amenity you could want for a beach vacation. The decor both inside and out, and small details are wonderful. Having rented on LBI for the past 30 years, both on the beach and bay side; this is by far the best home we have rented. Looking forward to being there next year and years to come!

A new show every evening

I love to sit in the deck each night and enjoy the show the sun puts on as it sets over the bay. It’s different each night and they’re all spectacular. What a location!!! Fabulous.

Close to perfection

This house is amazing. It really might be the perfect beach house. Situated on a small private cove in the bay, it has calm waters perfect for kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or just floating around in an inner tube. As everyone says the sunsets are absolutely fantastic. It is close to everything! Awesome bakery/ice cream across the street, deli/mini-market right outside your parking spot, Mini golf and arcade right behind you, beach with sand bar 1 block over/2 blocks down, official crosswalk so you don't have to play Frogger across LB blvd, 1 block down. If I was buying a beach house this would be the house I would buy. All of the amenities of the house were exactly as advertised, hot tub heated up fast, kayaks were right where they were supposed to be, wifi was strong, ac powerful, hot water always there when needed, all the appliances were relatively new and beds were comfortable. All the outdoor lights at the tiki bar worked and the weber grill fired right up. Even had ladder toss game and tons of quality beach chairs for us! There was really only 2 things I would change about the place. The slip covers for the sofas were really "pilly" from use and definitely need to be replaced. The carpets had some stains when we arrived, we alerted Alesia who offered to have the carpet cleaners come and even treat us to lunch while we were out of the place. We declined her offer and instead requested they be cleaned after we checked out, but very high marks for the gracious offer and customer service! The kitchen furniture and bathrooms are 80's beach chic but could probably use an update :) Also if you do want sole access to the dock the fee is an additional $200. If you don't reserve the dock there will be someone else's boat docked there limiting your use of it. These are all really minor things, I'm a pretty critical person and can't stop telling people what an awesome house and experience this was for the family. We will certainly be back.

Can't Wait To Go Back!

Had a great time at this rental. Location was key, within walking distance to anything you needed. We'd start the day kyacking, paddle boarding and crabbing at the house, then off to the beach for the afternoon, and back to the house for a spectacular sunset. House and property roomy enough to accommodate our family of 8 adults with room for more. Kitchen nicely equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. Nice one floor living which made clean up a breeze. Enjoyed everything about this property. See you next year!
