A wonderful stay. Very cool artistic feeling to the home. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the little private beach area. So many cool things to see in the area too.
House was wonderful and we had access to anything we needed (spices, kitchenware, etc).
It was very safe and easy to check in/out. They were very communicative and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again
Had a great stay in Las Gaviotas at this property. It’s a short walk from the beach area, and super close to the entrance, tennis courts, and pool. The whole area is very easy to navigate to all the amenities.
The property had some great retro style touches that I really enjoyed-tile, chairs etc.
The on site property manager, Milano, checked in on us Frequently via text to make sure all was good.
Great stay.
Las Gaviotas is very pretty and love the pool / private beach facility. The taco stands by the pool were also a great add (only there on the weekends) with good authentic food and convenience. The pain point was while the house is very charming, it really needs renovation - everything is from the 70s and come with issues as such - doors get stuck, locks get stuck, water pressure in the shower is low, bedrooms dont have doors, wooden structures are all old and chipped away, then there are also other things like having very dim lights. Everything was functional - but probably difficult to spend more than a couple of nights comfortably.

Unfortunately hazardous
We had a good stay besides my foot getting sliced open bad by the broken tile on the flooring. This place is cute and cablin-like but there were so many hazardous things around the house loose wood deck, broken tile, low railing on the roof deck, unsafe stairs up to roof deck, rusty railing, rusted nails sticking out of wood deck, etc. It was very dark at night in the house with few lights to turn on which is why I didn’t see the broken tile on the step leading up to the bedroom. Other than that, we loved the location and Todd the house manager was super helpful with any questions we had. Also, if you are staying here and are planning on cooking we found it hard to work with the few old kitchen supplies that was there. Personally will not be staying again due to the hazards around the house!

Hi Lily, we’re sorry to hear your stay did not meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-We greatly appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused during your stay. The unusually heavy rainfall in Northern Baja this winter took a toll on our property, but we're actively working to catch up with necessary repairs now that the rainy season has finally come to an end.
-We sincerely apologize for the broken tile on the floor. We have already scheduled the installation of the new tile for this week to rectify the situation. Additionally, we have been waiting for the repairman to address the issues with the stairway leading to the upper deck. He has assured us that he will take care of it next week.
-In order to ensure the safety and stability of the deck, we have taken steps to re-nail it and provide additional support with joists, addressing any faulty wood decking. We understand that these small hazards were not ideal and apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we want to assure you that we take it seriously. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to resolve these issues and make the necessary improvements. We truly value your satisfaction and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future, providing you with a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience.
Our family, including our two boys (ages 7 and 9) really enjoyed our stay at this property over Thanksgiving week. The kids loved playing on the beach, exploring the tidepools during low tide, and playing shuffleboard and tennis. This complex really is ideal for families given the private beach and facilities on site. The unit is right next to the tennis courts but three rows up from the beach level access. We didn't mind the walk up and down---but I would love to stay closer to the pool/beach level one day. Didn't swim this trip as the pool was cold and the complex is strict about no kids in the spa (sadly). Outside of the neighborhood, we also loved renting the 4-wheelers in the sand dunes and had the most amazing horseback ride on the beach at sunset on Thanksgiving day (highly recommend using Horses by Jose), All in all, was a great trip and we look forward to returning to Los Gaviotas soon.

We absolutely loved our time here - in fact we already booked our next stay!
Alexei was amazing. Check in was a breeze. He was so accommodating. Set up massages for my bff and I our last am and let us check out a little later. Gave us rides to dinner, rathet pay him than taxis and set up hot tub for us so it was hot by the time we got back from dinner. Also he can set up a vineyard day and make an itinerary for you!!
I took 3 teenagers on a surf trip. We loved it. The host was great and very helpful in recommending places to eat. The rooftop deck was plus, besides having a private courtyard with jacuzzi.
We had such a great memorial weekend in this space! Alexei was very helpful and easy to contact for suggestions in the area. The beds are so comfortable and the rooftop deck is perfect for a morning coffee or evening beer. Will be back:)

An absolutely charming place
From check in to check out, this place was amazing. My wife and I spent our 1yr anniversary here and it was absolutely perfect. We were met with a warm welcome and enjoyed cooking up delicious dinners in their kitchen. Will absolutely stay here again when we visit Las Gaviotas.

Great Experience
The house is beautiful, one of the oldest in the community. Great retro vibe inside, fun roof deck, pretty courtyard and working 2-seater hot tub. Did have some ants get in so be careful leaving out food.

The location and community are great.
The House was good and what I expected. A lot of the lights in the house did not work which made cooking at night tough. Other than that everything was great! Will definitely come back.

What an amazing get -away
I've been all over the world but coming to Las Gaviotas continuos to be the best short trip Getaway you can find!
This particular residence was very fitting for us and provided an excellent StayCation! The service was top notch - I arrived after sundown and as we pulled in the resident manger was turning the light son for us to make sure we could unload easily.
I cant thank you all enough for providing an excellent stay for me and my GF, I just won BF of the year!

Classic Gaviotas Home - Perfect for Couples Retreat!
We stayed 2 nights for a short weekend this fall. We have been coming down to Gaviotas for 10 years and love it. This house is located conveniently to the pool and beach. We had a great stay but the house itself needs a little TLC. We love to cook and the kitchen barely had enough for 4 of us to eat with mis-matched cups and old dishware. We could never successfully connect to the wifi - but not a huge deal because there is wifi by the pool. We also wished the private wood hot tub worked. Besides that, we loved the vintage mid-century style the house (no doors!) and cool looking fireplace. We experienced some jaw dropping sunrises from the roof deck. The onsite managers are super nice and helpful!

Great 2bdrm/1bth spot with character in walking distance to the beach and surf. Traditional indoor area with an open floor plan. Plenty of space outdoors including a large roof deck and private courtyard area perfect for a picnic or storing your surf gear. Call ahead to check on other amenities like kitchenware, grills, and patio furniture.
