Our newly constructed units will offer several different options to accommodate for any number of guests. Unit 5 offers a well equipped living area, covered porch- with seating, kitchenette, 1 king bedroom, and nice living area with a recliner and a sleeper sofa!

These cabins are so new you can still smell the paint ! ( in a good way ) They are decorated so cute & comfortably - I wish we could have stayed longer ! Note to travelers - the caverns & folk center are closed on Mondays & Tuesdays but there are plenty of other things to do.

The Knotty Squirrel is a newer property and a refreshing find close to everything wonderful to do in Mountain View. The quaint, yet modernized cabins are exceptionally clean and simply but tastefully decorated. It is the type of property that makes you feel you’ve gotten away from life’s chaos for a moment. Everything Mountain View is a short distance from The Knotty Squirrel, and the square, shops, and some restaurants are within walking distance. If you plan on coming to Mountain View and all this appeals to you, stay at The Knotty Squirrel! You won’t be disappointed!

Weekend Getaway

It was okay but due to being new construction, the smell of paint was causing us headaches. It was a tighter squeeze than we thought from pics. Will not stay here again.
