Not what I expected

Wi-Fi did not work for approximately one week. Instead of sending a technician that specializes in fixing this problem, they sent the cleaning lady. Finally, after about a week a technician showed up and I had to be present at the property for as long as it took to fix the problem which began with a wire outside. Also, I noticed the modems were outdated and asked the technician to install new ones which he did. The Wi-Fi was in perfect order after that. I felt extremely unsafe because since the Wi-Fi didn’t work, this meant cameras didn’t either. The kitchen window in front had half a curtain on it which allowed anyone to look into the house at all hours if they chose! The main bedroom had a very uncomfortable bed that was nearly broken. I’d never stay at that property again. I felt as though I did their job in waiting for the technician to fix the Wi-Fi. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund and was flat out told no. There was No real reason as to why I couldn’t cancel or receive a refund. This was a terrible experience!

In town to visit family

House was really beautiful, very cozy really close to a shopping area, fast food. What I loved about was that each room had a pull out couch so the kids had there own bed even had the cousins stay over and they had there own pull out. Totally recommend this house for large families.

Military funeral services

Drove to San Antonio from Colorado for my Dads military funeral service. Perfect location by Fort Sam cemetery. Check in process was very clear and easy. Comfortable home .

Great house

Great house just what we needed for our stay in San Antonio. The only drawback was the house having one bathroom (which we knew going into it), but otherwise the yard, kitchen and bedrooms were great! Management was very responsive to our requests.

Nice property but so many issues.

The house overall is nice and the living room area is spacious. The bedrooms in the main section of the house are a decent size and the backyard is nice. However, the place was dirty and had not been thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. There was dust everywhere and dead bugs along the floors and window sills. The 3rd bedroom is in the extension of the house and it's extremely drafty and the floors are very uneven. We stayed in the winter so it was very cold and the heater had to be running continuously. My biggest issue was the water pressure in the bathroom. When hot water is used in the shower, the water pressure plummets to a dribble. The sink in the bathroom also had low water pressure. The last thing that I disliked was the neighborhood. While the overall house was nice and homey, the surrounding 2-3 blocks are very rough with many yards full of junk and houses not maintained properly. There was also construction of a new highway or bypass happening, which made it even more of an unpleasant surrounding.

We loved the house. It fit our needs perfectly and was close by good food, and things to do. The kids really enjoyed the backyard. We would certainly stay again.

It's just ok

Some updates to the house, close to lots of attractions however very small beds, had bugs and mosquitoes. Master bedroom TV did not work. Glass screen door handle broke upon entering the house. There were several cracks in the ceiling, definitely an older house that could use some more repairs.

Hi Gina, thanks for bringing these things to the owner's attention and he would like to help future guests with this feedback: - I'm sorry that bugs were an issue during your stay. We have the most intense insect repellant the professionals use but due to the unusually wet season, flying critters are worse than usual. Please keep the windows closed and shut the door quickly to alleviate that problem. - The TV is unplugged between guest stays but they all work. - We apologize that the handle broke and it has since been fixed. We're glad that you enjoyed our home's location and we know that this is a big draw for future guests that provides a great value.

Centrally located

Owner was flexible to rescheduling at short notice after unexpected bad weather. Though older neighborhood was a mix of rundown and renovated homes it felt relatively safe. House was located conveniently near a Walmart and several really good restaurants . Close proximity to airport, Quarry Market, North Star Mall, and easy access to Austin Hwy was a plus.

It was a really good experience and the property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that when we got there and opened the door, it was hot, too hot. But other than that it was a delightful experience and thank you so much for letting us stay.
