Bright well appointed comfortable farm house in the middle of the action.
Walk to Town, many restaurants, sports bars,microbreweries and ice cream shops. 1 block from the Trent - Severn water system. Excellent location for boaters or vacationers. Great patio and large private yard with beautiful gardens and large grassy areas. Barbeque at home or walk to the many restaurants in town. Visit the museum, go on a bike ride or stay home and play cards at the large kitchen table. Many fun activities in a well planned town. Home of Bigley's, the largest shoe store in Ontario!

Worth the drive to Bobcaygeon

The property is within walking distance to restaurants, parks, lock system and Kawartha Dairy : ) Bobcaygeon is a scenic holiday town worth exploring. The farm house is spacious, welcoming, nicely appointed with art pieces and a lovely garden. We enjoyed our stay ! Thanks Susan !

Charming well-located home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was lovely and had great space for our family of four. Largr and well equipped kitchen/dining area and beautiful sunroom. Location was great -close to shops and restaurants.

Bobcageon cottage

Relaxing, close to everything vacation

Next time we stay a new matress for the downstairs bedroom would be recommended. Also the family Chef would appreciate some new frying pans.

One of the best places to stay in Bobcaygeon

Quiet, comfortable, easy access to the downtown area, interior of house is well done, the pictures on VRBO do not do this property justice. Cleaning schedule is a bit hard to work around.

Lovely Stay

Very clean and well equipped home. Centrally located with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would be good if the bedrooms had privacy curtains instead of only sheers. Shower is huge and awesome.

We arrived to a very pretty and clean house, the beds were very cozy the bathroom’s were clean and fully stocked with soap shampoo, etc, there is a very cute patio set in the back with a bbq,it is very close to shopping restaurants LCBO and the locks, we will definitely be back

Fantastic location close to everything

It is a beautiful house we had full use of but the only problem I had was the bed in the main bedroom on the main floor was WAY too high and I had a very difficult time getting it.

Clean property, fully equipped large kitchen but no dishwasher. Two large bathrooms with laundry and Very spacious bedrooms with good mattress. Big backyard for families to enjoy, however BBQ could be a little bigger.

The property was great.My friend and I were there for my brother and wife fifty anniversary. It was perfect to see my cousins from different parts of Ont. Came to visit us and they loved the house. Exploring Kawartha Lakes area

Picked this lovely property as a more affordable option than a cottage on a lake in the area. Really enjoyed the sunroom at the side of the house. Bobcaygeon is a lovely town with a small but good Saturday farmers market, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, shops, bakeries, locks and a small beach all within a few minutes walk of the house Provincial parks with trails and beaches are within a reasonable drive if you want a larger beach than the one in town.

Great location in Bobcageon

We rented the house for five nights and it was so good! The house is very spacious and we loved the sunroom for eating breakfast and reading! The location is awesome and no need to use the car to get to restaurants or stores. I could even walk to the library! Susan is very responsive to any requests or communication. Bobcageon has lots to see and do and you can keep busy and be relaxed at the same time!

Quaint Bobcaygeon Home

The location of this property is convenient and close to everything. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The house is old and it was a bit difficult maintaining a constant temperature. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were noisy. Overall, it was a great spot and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Great place for family get-togethers!

My siblings and I grew up in Bobcaygeon and now live too far apart to see each other very often. We try to get together every summer for a family reunion, and since Bobcaygeon still feels like home to all of us, that is where we like to meet. This property was perfect for our needs. It slept 6 adults very comfortably. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. The only suggestion that I could make would be to install a grab bar in the shower for safety. It was an extremely hot weekend, but the air conditioning units cooled the house down fairly quickly and there were lots of standing fans available to move the air around. We have already booked our stay for next summer!

Basic Accomodation

The description describes the house as bright. It is not bright except for the sunroom which is lovely and comfortable. We also enjoyed the patio. The A/C is window units in two bedrooms, and a wall unit in the kitchen. These should be turned on , and the house cooled down for arriving guests. Other parts of the house are stuffy in the hot weather. Both bathrooms are on the ground floor. There are nice touches - good towels and linens, comfortable beds - but the overall feel is quite basic. Being able to contact host at arrival time to answer questions would have made us more comfortable right off the bat. Hope this is helpful.

This property was fantastic!

We traveled from Michigan to spend a week in Canada. We, family of 5, were looking for a home that would accommodate all of us comfortably and have what we needed to make some meals and enough room for everyone to have their own space. Having three teens, wifi was a BONUS as well! This home was PERFECT for us and met all of our needs. Sue, the property owner, was very timely with her responses to our many questions and she proved herself to be a very accommodating host. The first impression we had was how CLEAN the home was! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Bobcaygeon (very easy walk to town, the shops and restaurants are just around the corner from the home) and we were able to drive for a day trip to Niagra Falls as well as to Lake Ontario for a swim and another day trip to Toronto. We even went and did some rock / mineral hounding for a day. This house was in the perfect spot. Away from it all, but close enough to the action! We would definitely rent from Sue again if we are back in the area!
