Great place to get away for a couple days, beautiful view, but a lot of steps to go up and down to the water. Overall a great experience and owner is very friendly and easy to deal with.
This is a very relaxing site on Lake Sturgeon. The large main room has a great view of the lake, which is just a few steps away. The house is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, plus many games and movies if you're stuck inside. The host, Stephen, is a warm and friendly man who will make things right if you should have any problems.
Veary peaceful and reaxing Lakeview cottage is vary spacious and clean with lots of games and a TV for your entertainment..
Beautiful deck overlooking the lake.
We had a great stay, place was clean, well stocked, everything worked perfectly. Beautiful views of the lake, very private, didn't see another soul aside from those on the water. Amazing price for being so close to Toronto.
We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and the lake was beautful.

Fun Stay
Overall, myself and my sibling's had a great stay. The inside of the cottage is well maintained, the two bedrooms are a good size, the living area and kitchen was great for cooking and hanging out. The proximity to both Bobcaygeon and Lindsey was convenient. The view from the deck is stunning, the perfect place for coffee and meals. There are a few things we wish had been made clear in the booking/would have liked to see improved upon. The cottage was cleanish, sheets had been washed and dishes were clean however both bathrooms had hair and bugs in the shower and didn’t look like they’ve been cleaned in a while. Floors had been vacuumed before arrival but the cottage was incredibly dusty and most windowsills were filled with dead bugs and debris. The host was also unresponsive for the entire length of our stay, I messaged multiple times asking about checkout procedures and if the water is safe to drink and they never responded. Things to know prior to booking that aren’t in the posting: There is NO dock on site. There is an old boat launch, however half of it is broken and you will need to wade into the water. Water shoes are highly recommend. You are not allowed any camp fires on site regardless of the fire rating and there’s a house rule that you can’t even burn mosquito coils which makes sitting outside at night impossible. This was disappointing as there’s a beautiful deck but my group was getting munched on too much to stay outside in the evening.
The views from the deck were fantastic and the cottage was comfortable, clean and cozy. We so enjoyed the couple of days relaxation at the lake that we have already re-booked to come back again!
Had a nice relaxing time at this cottage with my family. Close to the lake and had a beautiful view from the back. Catch some fish from the lake and was very happy.
Thanks
We had a lovely stay. Even though the weather wasn’t the best, there was lots to keep us entertained inside. Very peaceful. Watching the storms roll on over the lake was beautiful!
Our board game group had a nice time at Stephen's lovely cottage. Would do it again :)

Beautiful location
This property is very spacious with great views. It was wonderfully quiet and private. We were looking for a weekend of rest and relaxation, and that is what we got. And many photos of the beautiful sunsets. We may come back again with friends!
Had a wonderful time at Stephen’s cottage for Canada Day weekend! We had everything we needed and more for a great stay. The dock was great to sit and fish off of during the day and the views off the deck were incredible. Swimming by the dock is fine too as long as you’re careful on the rocks. The pull out couch in the living room was broken but we had brought an air mattress so it wasn’t a problem and there is another pull out couch downstairs that works.

Great location
The property is located on the water and the view was beautiful. It is an older cottage but there has been some renovations and updates. The place was clean and there was plenty of space for 6 people. If the owners continue to make improvements throughout and created some flat spaces on the outside to have a sitting area or play areas it would be great. The price was excellent, I would definitely stay again.
