Perfect get-a-way

The pictures don't do it justice. This was a wonderful place to relax, especially on the porch. We were able to crab and fish a few steps away. Old Town was a short golf cart trip, everything we wanted to do was close by, but secluded enough to just take it easy. We all enjoyed our stay, and recommend to anyone. The owners show pride in a beautiful place.

Excellent place to stay

We were home for the holidays visiting family here in the bay area and needed a place to stay. We did not want to stay in the downtown area because we didn't want to be near all of that commotion and traffic and noise. We found this place on the VRBO website and it looked good, so we chose it. Communication with the host was completely transparent from beginning to end. This place is outstanding. Absolutely beautiful. Lots of room. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, so much space everywhere, a huge huge screened in porch to boot. Everything is beautiful. Everything you need to cook is in the kitchen! In fact, I don't think I've seen a better stocked kitchen in any kind of rentals house before. Hands down the winner in that category! I really appreciated being able to be in a quiet area of town and be able to walk along the seawall whenever I wanted. The seawall is only about 100 feet away! Although it's quite a hike, we also walked from here all the way across the Bay bridge and back one day. Without a doubt, I would give this place a 10 out of 10. And we would most definitely come back! No doubt at all.

Impeccable location

This is a beautiful house! We were extremely pleased with the location of it! It is so close to downtown Bay St Louis but far enough away so you don’t hear all the noise of town or the train. Will definitely stay again!

Granddaughter’s beautiful wedding

Property was perfect for rehearsal and wedding preparation. Very quiet and peaceful with bay view and visiting on porch/beautiful weather also. House was just as described, very clean and roomy. Best stocked vrbo ever! Nothing could have been improved. VRBO host was the most accommodating ever! Would highly recommend.

Home sweet home in the bay

Communication with Carl couldn’t have been better. The house was perfect for our family! It had everything you could want in the kitchen for cooking up some good meals, lots of paper products , lots of fun games and a great screened in porch(with a great view of the bay) with seating for lots of people. The house feels like home. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful.,The location is perfect. It’s super close to town with lots of great restaurants and bars. Thanks Carl! We’ll be renting again for sure

Cozy Christmas at the Bay

We had planned months in advance a family get together in Bay St. Louis over the Christmas holidays, never anticipating record below freezing temperatures. However, despite being a raised house, we had no problems. The house remained very cozy and warm throughout our stay. The kitchen worked well for putting together casseroles, and the house was in a very good location for going downtown and also over to my sister’s house. We couldn’t enjoy the back deck, but we did enjoy snuggling under blankets on the sofas while watching old Christmas movies.

Wonderful stay

This house was a perfect place to spend a long weekend. We had two families and the space was just the right size for all of us. The house is close to everything and was well stocked with necessities. I highly recommend.

Girls’ weekend for cousins

The house was lovely, it was cleaned really well, supplied well, and had plenty of great places to sit and hangout. The screened porch was a treat. The view is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. We were very impressed with the place. The owners obviously want you to enjoy your time there and make the extra effort.

Huskers experience BSL

We loved loved loved the porch! The location was GREAT! Everyone should know that it has a room with Two twins(we thought they were doubles). We had 8 people so I slept on the couch. I’m glad I didn’t realize this because I may not have reserved it. THE HOUSE IS SIMPLY GREAT! And FYI, the couch is comfy! We WILL BE BACK! Carl was a GREAT HOST!!!! We had a COMPLETE BLAST! And our Omaha, NE friends are ALREADY TALKING ABOUT COMING BACK! Thanks Carl!
