Sombrero Beach Villa with Private Pool and Dock

This beautiful villa was built in 2017, making it one of the newest and modern homes in the Florida Keys. There are numerous qualities that make this villa an ideal place to call home for your travels, such as: location, amenities, comfort, and style.

Marathon, Florida is in the middle of all the beauty and action of what the Florida Keys have to offer. Many popular attractions are just minutes away! There are many award winning and highly rated restaurants on Tripadvisor at a walking distance or short car ride away. Sombrero Beach is a public beach offering complimentary parking, outdoor grilling, kayak launching area, beach volleyball, children play area, and public restrooms. At a walking or bike ride distance from our home: Publix Supermarket, KMart, McDonalds, Walgreens, USPS, UPS, and Ice Cream Parlor to just name a few.

Our large 40 foot dock offers our guest the option to bring their boats, jetskis, and waverunners, or be able to rent them locally and have easy access to them directly from their home. The dock contains washing supplies such as a hose and an electrical outlet, all for our guests convenience. And better way to enjoy a beautiful sunny day than with a dip in the pool. Our pool offers a two person bench with a water jet and an LED light to set the perfect night time atmosphere. And now, you can enjoy the pool during winter season with our newly installed pool water heater!

This home comes equipped with all things necessary in making your vacation memorable. Beach, shower, and face towels are all included with your stay. Starter shampoo, conditioner, soaps, and shower gels are placed in each bathroom. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, utensils, serving dishes, large plates, salad plates, bowls, mugs, glass cups, wine glasses, and much more.

Dear Old Friends Trip

A group of 7 friends for over 50 years. This place was wonderful. Absolutely everything we needed was available for our use. The pool was a happy favorite!! The home was clean, modern and beautiful. Everyone was comfortable the neighborhood was quiet. The owner was very responsive to my questions. This place deserves a 10/10 rating….it was amazing!!

Best place in Marathon!

The house was amazing and beautifully decorated with plenty of room for both our families. It was a short ride out on our boat to the Atlantic and spent several days fishing in at the sandbar.

Thanksgiving week with friends

This property was just as depicted and listed. Plenty of room for 9 off us with ample sleeping space and 3 full bathrooms. Pool and outdoor kitchen area is where we spent a majority of our time. A quick drive to spend the day in Key West and Thanksgiving dinner at Sunset Grill. Ideally located to get to any of the surrounding Keys. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation

Everything was perfect! There is a guy across the canal that plays crazy in appropriate music for hours and extremely loudly so small kids would have been an issue as the language in the music is truly not for young kids, but we just went inside and dealt with it. The house is great and perfect for all we needed. Thank you again!!!

Just what I needed

This property is beautiful and set up for a great stay. The bedrooms are nice and comfortable. Plenty of towels for showers and the beach. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare great meals. The pool and dock areas gave us lots of things to do during our stay. My grand kids and their parents enjoyed the kayaks every morning. We rented a boat and explored sandbars and restaurants in the area. Spending time with my family was perfect on this property. Thanks to the owners for the little extra care.

Great Vacation!!

Our stay here was beyond great! We brought the boat and kept it at the homes dock. We went fishing, diving and relaxing at a sandbar! The house is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The swimming pool and patio area under the home is really nice! Our oldest son’s car battery was dead on departure day and I had no tools. Arty had tools and he cleaned the terminals and we jumped his car. This was really nice of Arty! Thank you! In my fifty some years of life our vacation at this home in Marathon is a top two favorite! Thank you Elizabeth!

Absolutely perfect!

We had one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had! The place was so beautiful, clean and it offered everything we could ever want for our trip…even down to the tote bag we used to carry our things to Sombrero Beach just a 3-minute drive away! Everything was literally just minutes away (grocery store, restaurants, beach). The heated pool on the property was wonderful (especially for our 6-month old granddaughter), and the whole outdoor space was set up perfectly for our family to relax and enjoy the sun or shade. The hosts also responded quickly to any of our questions and needs. Truly the best experience we could have had! Thanks so much for everything.

Beautiful home, super clean! Accommodated 9 comfortably.

I would recommend anyone with a large group to stay at this property. It was very clean and was well equipped with everything. Home was nicely appointed with very nice furnishings, comfy beds and a nautical theme. If I had to say anything negative it would be the stairs.. we stayed in the master bedroom so it was a lot of stairs. The only other thing is I would have loved a bathroom downstairs by the pool. We fished from the dock and kayaked with the kids and even got to see manatee a few times. Very relaxing. Very nice home and I would love to come back.

Absolutely Fantastic!

We just left this property a couple of days ago and we want to go back! We've been renting houses in Marathon for over 20 years and this was by far the best we've been in. It was beautiful, so clean and had so many thoughtful details. The kitchen was fully stocked with new cookware and utensils, there were throws and extra pillows and blankets in every room and there were even built in USB chargers in the nightstands in the master suite! The pool was warm and there was fridge in the outdoor seating area so you didn't have to go back upstairs for drinks. Elizabeth, the property manager, was so kind and responsive to any small request we had. Surprisingly, one of the stars of our trip was the orange safety cone at the end of the driveway making it easy to find out house even in the dark. Truly a gem! We'll definitely try to rent again next time we're in the Keys. Thank you Elizabeth!

The home is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and items we needed. The pool was beautiful and the home is on a canal which was nice to fish off the dock. We were able to manatees swimming in the canal. The house was in a great location with a grocery store nearby. The owner was very quick to respond to text messages. We had a great week and would stay here again.

Well appointed with a great location

We are on our way home and are already looking for dates for next year. We took our 3 grown children, their spouses, and 1 grandbaby for the week. The property had everything we needed (and even stuff we didn’t know we needed). The pool is on the smaller side but plenty of room for us all to stay cool. An hour from Key West, or Key Largo and super close to grocery stores, the beach, and restaurants. Our host was very quick to answer any questions we had. The kids loved havthe bikes and kayaks, to go off and explore and we really enjoyed the manatees that visited regularly.

Beautiful Keys Property

Thank you so much to Elizabeth and team for our fantastic stay at Keys Ohana. The experience was beyond our expectations! The house is more beautiful than the photos let on. The setup of the house was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 adults and 2 children - we had room to spare. The pool was perfect and heated in the spring months. We saw manatees off the dock and also rented a pontoon boat for a couple of days and docked it right there. Elizabeth was quickly responsive to our questions. We cannot wait to come back!

This home is located near all that's necessary to having the ultimate Florida Keys vacation! Sombrero Beach offers so many amenities absolutely complimentary, including a kayak launch area in which you can launch the kayaks my villa provides for you. There is a bike trail that leads to the beach which allows you to take advantage of the four bikes we provide. Our backyard is an island oasis, offering a beautiful dock and private swimming pool. Bask in the sun with our lounge seating or watch your favorites sports team on our outdoor flat screen television all while enjoying outdoor grilling and a dip in the pool.
