This quiet cabin was perfect for our family getaway! The view from the hot tub was beautiful and exactly what we needed after long days of checking out this great area.

We are so glad to hear the Guest House was perfect for your family and that you enjoyed the hot tub!! You were great guest and we enjoyed having your family. Come back soon!!
The cabins are wonderful! We were having a wedding so didn't have as much time to enjoy the cabins as we would like, but they are beautiful! Secluded and quiet area!!
Beautiful secluded peaceful property. One of the main reasons we picked this property was the hot tub. Even messaged the host prior to our stay. It didn't work the entire stay. Also their were squirrels inside the cabin. Both were reported to the host. She seemd surprised but not concerned about our stay being affected.

The location was very confusing. There are two cabins at the site so when our door code didn't fit one we went to the other one and it worked. We were a little disappointed cause we
This property is gorgeous. It's secluded and quiet. The views are incredible. The hot tub did not disappoint. The property manager was quick to answer questions. The walkway and huge deck to the hot tub was lighted and just beautiful. Just the romantic getaway my husband and I needed. The price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back!!

Wedding weekend
The house was okay but the porch was not clean. My mom could not stand it, she has to sweep the cob webs.

Hot tub was a huge factor in why we booked
Sadly the hot tub was dirty and not working, the small screen on hot tub showed inoperable due to the filter. It was very upsetting because this was the main focus on booking and when we told the host, they seemed as if they weren't aware and all we got was a "sorry".
Overall the property is beautiful, beds were comfortable. The cabin was very dark, so we had to cook in the dark most of the time.

Could have been better. The amenities and pictures are deceptive online. If you want all amenities you must rent either the larger cabin or both. The water was difficult to get to for ng. The good thing about it, it was quiet most of the time.
Very relaxing and peaceful weekend for my wife and I. The cabin was cozy and inviting. We enjoyed the hot tub and grill area as well as the shore area by the lake. Sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Very nice to be able to bring your pet and let them enjoy the area also. I recommend this property if you need to get away and enjoy the peacefulness.
Our rental experience was fantastic, the hosts were extremely responsive to messages. The property is well kept and clean, overall beautiful secluded getaway for a family. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a Great Lake/cabin experience!

Directions to address could improve. GPS. Takes you different area. Mouse pellets throughout the cabin. Dust mites abound. We made the most of it and cleaned the cabin. With improvements it could be a nice place to visit
We enjoyed the cabin for a 3 day weekend. Our men went fishing and it was just a short drive to Conway for the girls to go shopping. It was great that the cabin had fans for Friday when it was hoot and heaters for the rest of the weekend when it was cold. Highly recommend and will be coming back in the future
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the Lookout Cabin! Beautiful view and everything about the cabin was nice except the bathroom. Every time the toilet was flushed, a horrible sewer gas smell permeated the cabin..... definitely needs to be fixed!! There were several times we had to go outside due to the smell. Otherwise, we had a great time!!
When we arrived the house was so clean and smelled great. The view was outstanding! So much space In the house to spread out and relax.. I've never stayed anywhere better. DID NOT DISAPPOINT
This was an awesome get away. Secluded and right on the lake. The hot tub was marvelous and very relaxing. We watch people catching fish both days we were there and enjoyed every minutes of it. Wonderful fire pit with plenty of patio chairs. The only thing that I was disappointed in was my fault for not reading correctly, but has a big cabin and a small cabin. The big cabin had the hot tub, but the small one did not and so had to walk to get to it. I wouldn't let that stop me from staying again though. Loved it and will be back!!
Lovely cabin at the end of a country road, not a lot of traffic, nice and quiet. Very serene location. Access to the boat dock for fishing and kayaking was great for the kids. Owner was very accessible and helpful with special requests/concerns. Will definitely plan on going back.
It was the perfect little get away spot during a crazy time when travel was restricted and couldn’t go and do much. The only thing that would have made it better was if fishing was decent.

About the host
Hosted by Susan Williams
I am Susan Williams, and my husband Kevin and I manage this property for my parents. Bill(Buzz) & Barbara Menard live in Gillett, AR. Our entire family (4 generations)all love Greers Ferry Lake! We hope you make as many special memories as we have on the lake!
Why they chose this property
The Guest House on Choctaw Cove was built by its owners in 2011 as an addition to the property to accommodate more family! The property was purchased from good friends we met at the lake one Summer in late 1990's. They became life long friends of the family. When they decided to move to another state in 2008, we purchased their home as a vacation home for our family-which includes a host of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We began renting the property January 2015.
What makes this property unique
This house is privately located at the dead end of Hwy 336. It is a very cozy, comfortable house with great amenities. It is just a short walk to the Lake for fishing, swimming or kayaking. Photographers will enjoy the wildlife as well as the beautiful scenery. There is plenty of hiking as well.
