We arrived after dark and the lights were on with coffee prepped for the next morning. The cottage had everything we could have wanted for making meals, relaxing in the the scenic surroundings and the location was perfect for our needs. Wonderful beds added to our experience! Bill and Katarina offered generous hospitality at every turn. We're looking forward to staying with you again soon.
Once again, a wonderful stay in Old Farm Cottage. It's our perfect location in addition to it be spotless and well appointed. Bill and Katarina are amazing hosts. Thank you for your assistance with the keys! Hope now wants a John Deer toy tractor with snow shovel attached. Looking forward to staying with you again.
The cottage was a perfect amount of space for me and my wife and dog on a lovely property for 2 weeks we needed to be driveable to Portland (we're from MD). Short drive to Brunswick, great trails, the sea, and a reasonable 40ish minute drive to Portland.
Great hosts who were always available but also unobtrusive. Beautiful fields in front of our cottage with woods behind made for a great Maine experience. House was older but recently remodeled and contained everything we could possible need. Just sit on the porch and enjoy the turkey and deer wandering past you!
Our stay was great. The house had everything needed. Cozy and homey. The location is perfect. Lots of open space and convenient to town, walking trails and the shore.
The hosts are fantastic. Katarina and Bill were charming, thoughtful and very responsive. We lost power during a significant wind storm and they offered their own home as refuge.
Can’t say enough good things about our stay.
This is indeed a treasured farm cottage. The host family is welcoming and attentive as well as respectful of privacy. We were able to relax on the wrap around porch - rain or shine. There are well tended fields for children to play on. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen, and comfortable living and sleeping spaces. It is a beautiful place and we hope to return.
