Very nice place. The house is clean, cozy and has a lot of commodities. Well located, isolated in a peaceful area surrounded by trees. Large grounds with a cute patio and lots of space in the yard.
We recommend it !
Clean comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water. Missing tv remote. Very loud dryer. Lot of mosquitoes at night outside. Pack bug spray

Wasn't as good as expected
It was an okay stay, but would not return.
Pros:
- Great location, close to major attractions, quiet for the night
- House in overall good structural condition
- Well-stocked with paper towels, cleaning products, etc. (good supplies if you want to do the cleaning personnel's job)
Cons:
- Beds are horrible, mattresses are badly sagging
- Advertised as having "Central A/C" whereas there is one wall unit on the upper level that does not cool bedrooms at all. Thankfully temperatures were managable during the nights so we could open windows for a comfortable sleeping experience.
- "Change filter" sign lit in every appliance: fridge, A/C, dehumidifer, hood vent
- Overall dirty, there was black long hair on towels, etc. I had to clean every surface, incl. interior of fridge, countertops, table, bathrooms, railing, washer/dryer, etc.
- Stairs leading to upper level is way to steep - hard to carry up suitcases and a hazard for people with young kids. A baby gate would go a long way.
- Not a great arrangement with the split level - we did not use the lower level at all yet would have loved some comfortable seating on upper level vs. dining chairs.

From the owners:
We are sorry that your expectations were not met. We strive to give a 5-star experience to our guests and had you reached out to us upon arrival, we may have been able to correct some of the issues. We invested in excellent mattresses and bedding and have not had a complaint about them until this review, but we are truly sorry you felt the mattresses were not comfortable. We would not allow our bedding to reach the level of "badly sagging" and will replace them if it were necessary prior to that. Our house is very small, less than 900 square feet. The AC unit is extremely efficient and does the job. We also supply fans for folks who would like more air movement, and the mountain breezes are lovely at night. Thank you for saying that we are well stocked. Additional cleaning supplies are for guests to clean up any occasional spill or mess they may make during their stay. As to the lack of cleanliness, our cleaner is thorough and we are shocked by your contention. We would have bought you dinner out and had the team come back if it was a concern and we had been informed immediately. The "change filter" signs are on timers, so they are not always an indication that a filter needs changing, but thank you for the heads-up. We will be there next week to attend to maintenance. As to the two-story layout and stairs of our cute cottage, we cannot apologize for that. We have done the best we could with the space we have. We do have a pack-n-play and a baby gate on the premises and would have been happy to supply them had you reached out. Thank you for the feedback.
Our family of 4 had a great stay - the house is very small, but clean, comfortable and perfectly located for a week of White Mountain exploration with our young kids. Everything is brand new and carefully put together - it feels like a modern hotel with the privacy of a home. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the house has a great stash of board games and paperbacks for any downtime you may have, and is perfectly located about 20 minutes from both Crawford and Franconia Notch. Would absolutely recommend for a mountain getaway.
This house was great for a family of 3, it was clean, comfortable and had everything needed to cook a quick meal. It is in a great location, 20 to 30 min near plenty of things to do like santas village, clarks trading and fraconia notch, but not overcrowded like some other high tourist towns. Restaurants in town were also very good. We would stay here again!
We typically stay at a hotel when we visit Santa's Village but this year we decided to rent a house and are so glad we did. This house was perfect for the four of us. The kids loved the bunk beds. We will definitely look to book again next year.
We spent a few days in this peaceful spot as we travelled to various area locals and Santa’s Village. The home is cozy and quiet and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Our family of 6 (4 kids from 2-8 yrs old) rented this property for a short Santa’s Village stay. The house was spotless and fully equipped with all kitchen needs. The kids loved the space and games offered. We will be back!!

Cute and clean. Great for a long weekend
Great place to stay. House was petite but clean and nicely organized. We didn’t use the heat or a/c but lower partial sub level was much colder than the upstairs so we didn’t spend any time there. Overall cute place with nice finishes in one of our favorite areas in the white mountains.
This is the third time we've stayed at this property, and we love it. Perfect for our family of four, and only a 15 minute drive from Bretton Woods and Littleton. We'll definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house in a great location!
This house is on the small side, but is very nicely furnished, clean, and laid out well. It was perfect for my family of 3. The living room and 1 bathroom are downstairs, and the kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and the other bathroom are upstairs. The living room is cozy, but it fit my family fine, and we loved the electric fire. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, etc. The fridge was empty, but there were some staples in the pantry. The beds were extremely comfortable. The house is close to Bretton Woods, and we were happy that the small road that the house is on was plowed well. We would definitely stay here again!
The owner has carefully provided pretty much everything you need to fully enjoy your stay. The house is nicely updated with all mod cons and is clean. The property is quiet but conveniently located for the many activities in the area. Thank you.
The house was so cute and clean! Close to lots of hiking trails and some really good restaurants. Property Manager was very helpful and quick to respond. Would stay again and recommend to others.
The house was incredibly clean when we arrived, which was comforting. Perfect size for a family of four like ours. It's just a short drive to a bunch of restaurants in Bethlehem, and only about 15 minutes from Bretton Woods. We would love to stay there again!
I’ll start with my one negative, it was not as private/remote as I had hoped. There is a house directly across from the driveway & when your sitting on the deck you can hear traffic noise from route 302. The house is tucked away on a dead end but it is not private. That’s it for the negatives; everything else was amazing. The property was super clean when we arrived. The inside is totally updated & whoever decorated the place did an A plus job. Everything is modern & upgraded. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything you need. This is very well designed and maintained for sure. The outside was also great. The deck looks brand new. We spent most nights on the deck under the stars. We had coffee on the deck every morning. The fire pit was also fun. A little away from the house, it felt like we were camping out there but bring some chairs to sit around the camp fire. The area was great. Your in the white mountains so plenty to take in. Because of corona the restaurants are not open every day so you really need to plan ahead and make reservations for outdoor seating. Also NH state parks require online reservations as well. We ate at Schilling, Rek-Lis, Cold Mountain Cafe and Littleton Freehouse. All of them were excellent. Overall this place was a great little get away. Thanks for letting us rent the property!
This was a beautiful, little 2 bedroom! Loved the design and small touches. Super clean. There just isn’t much space. The living space on the ground floor (when you enter the house) is the only one and is quite small. It could not really comfortably fit our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 boys ages 6 and 8) together in the space to watch a movie together. Also, if you intend to cook, you’ll need to bring all of your own condiments, spices, oil/cooking spray and tea bags. The house only provides salt/pepper which was unexpected (simply based on our experiences of renting at least 10 different VRBO properties in the past). Kim (manager) replied immediately when I emailed and did explain that they can’t be certain how people handle containers so they have their cleaning service do a complete clean between stays. While I can see her point, I also do not want to schlep all my non perishables for 2 nights away when I’m already packing all of the food we needed for breakfast-dinner. Overall, cute space, nice to have a tv upstairs (bedroom) and down, kitchen appliances were great, too cold to take advantage of the deck but nice wooded view!
Terrific, clean, modern place. Well- stocked with everything one would need. Warm, cozy, quiet, and convenient location. Close to shops, restaurants, 17 mins to bretton woods.
Booked this place for a weekend ski getaway for a family of four. Worked out great in terms of sleeping arrangements. One room had a queen, the other a full and twin bunk, in addition a pull out queen sofa futon in the living area. Place is one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed at. They had bright white towels!!! I didn’t even mind walking barefoot on their floors. Not a spot of dust in sight even in the nooks and crannies. Didn’t have to contact property manager for anything. They have thoughtful notes around the house that gave us recommendations on the area, how the futon works, WiFi, trash key, ect. Location is on a dead end street with other houses and driveway is a little tight. Maybe a 20 min drive, although straight shot to Bretton Woods. Cozy little house and would book again for another ski weekend.
