Tastefully updated cottage style home in friendly quiet neighbourhood is a welcoming space for families or couples. The house is one level, with a short flight of stairs up to the front door.
Pets are welcome! Check in and out times are dependent on bookings and cleaning schedule so do send a message to see if an adjustment is possible.

Working kitchen has all the basics you'll need, including a gas stove and dishwasher. The dining room can seat 8 if you're entertaining your local friends and family. Bright sunny living room with comfy sofas, a TV with HDMI cable to connect your computer. CD player plus, check out my vinyl collection! Just added an air conditioner as summers are heating up here on the Island.

Lovely treed front yard to enjoy a glass of wine and play with the dog. Front hall cupboard for your use as well as empty drawers and closet in the bedroom. Queen bed in one bedroom. Double bed in second bedroom is a sofa bed with memory foam mattress cover – very comfy. Tested it out myself. Wifi is included. Family visit
Had a wonderful 2 week stay at this home. It is close to our son/daughter-in-law and grandson. Close to a nice park for kids of all ages. Kitchen had everything you would need. I would highly recommend this home for your next Victoria stay.

Fabulous stay
I'm excited to share our wonderful experience at this charming house. It not only comfortably accommodated our group of four but also allowed us to host a special dinner for eight. The washing machine was a convenient addition for light packing, while the spacious interiors and thoughtful amenities truly made it feel like a home away from home. The central location gave us easy access to local attractions, and both indoor and outdoor spaces were enjoyed by our children. The peaceful surroundings enhanced our relaxation, and this stay surpassed our expectations, leaving us with cherished memories. A heartfelt thank you for offering such a perfect getaway!

Home away from Home
Great location between our two daughters who also live in Victoria. It gave us plenty of room to have them over for a meal or visiting.

Week stay
This place was so comfortable and peaceful. The location was great and quiet. It was close to a market , park, and bus stops. Susan was so kind. The lock on the front door broke mid-week early in the morning and Susan was quick to reply and fix it. Susan's place was like a home away from home and wished we could have stayed longer.

I have lived in Victoria for many years and love the city. I have been involved in local food movement and have a productive vegetable garden in the back yard. I am also part of a lively music scene with both the Bluegrass Society and the Jazz fest.

Why they chose this property

My little neighbourhood is family oriented with lots of trees and green spaces. No sidewalks give it a rural flavour that I love. A corner lot with huge Linden trees in the front, the Dean street side is a designate bike street and so nice and quiet for an evening stroll. There is a new childreans park a block away.
Front yard on this quiet street is perfect for a drink after a day of sight seeing or hanging out at Willows Beach. You'll find both sun and shade.

What makes this property unique

The house is surrounded by flower gardens. View from sunny livingroom of trees and flowers! Close to Willows Beach, Oak Bay village and funky Fernwood. You'll get to know parts of Victoria that most tourists miss!
