'Welcome' to ORANA HOUSE

Set on 1 acre, Orana House is a spacious and homely South Coast accommodation offering, beautifully decorated and well equipped for small groups, families or wedding stays.

The property is conveniently located opposite Cambewarra Estate Winery, and provides a convenient base to explore the Berry/Kangaroo Valley/Nowra areas of the Shoalhaven.

The residence accommodates a maximum of 12 guests (total including adults and children) and has everything you need for a weekend away or week long stay. The location is out of town, with a semi-rural feel, and is best suited for groups seeking quiet, relaxed time out. Please read our entire listing description prior to booking.

With two master bedrooms (each with an ensuite) and over 300sqm of internal space, Orana House is the perfect escape for groups of couples or two families to enjoy time away together.

The amenities of Nowra and Bomaderry are just 10 minutes away and Berry is 20 minutes drive.

KEY FEATURES

Each of the six comfortable bedrooms has a queen sized bed and there are four bathrooms (two of which are en-suites for the two master bedrooms). There is a spa bath in one of the master en-suites and bath tub in the main bathroom.

Quality Logan and Mason bed linen and Sheridan bath towels are supplied. In the warmer months guests are requested to bring their own pool/beach towels as these not provided.

The large undercover outdoor deck overlooking the pool is the perfect space to enjoy alfresco dining under the festoon lighting or relax with a glass of wine on the outdoor lounge.

The entertainer's kitchen is fully equipped and includes an induction cooktop (four elements), electric oven and dishwasher. There is also an outdoor hooded BBQ with temperature gauge.

The dining room overlooking the front garden and fountain features a long rustic wooden table with velvet dining chairs seating 12 guests.

During the warmer months guests can enjoy the fully fenced pool with sun lounges (note the pool is not heated and is covered between May and mid September).

During the winter, there is nothing more relaxing than sitting by the open fireplace in the sunken Lounge room, and for the more adventurous there is also an outdoor fire pit.

Cambewarra Estate Winery is directly opposite the property, offering lunch, high tea and wine tastings FRI-SUN.

We provide a portacot, family friendly dinnerware and a high chair to cater for young families, and there is plenty of space to accommodate up to 12 guests (total including adults and children).

There is also a full laundry with washing machine and dryer available for guest use.

Pets/animals are not permitted, no exceptions.

Orana House is a private family holiday home which we have opened to guests to enjoy. 'Orana' is an indigenous word from the Wiradjuri language meaning "welcome". Before booking with us, we ask that you consider your ability to respect the use of our home and to treat the property as we do.

*** KEY INFORMATION TO NOTE BEFORE BOOKING ***

WEDDINGS, PARTIES, EVENTS, EXCESSIVE NOISE, ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARE NOT PERMITTED
This is not a party house nor is it suitable for noisy groups. We are located in a semi-rural residential community where noise travels and guest consideration with regard to noise is expected throughout your stay during the day and night.

Any excessive noise or amplified music will not be tolerated and guests will be asked to leave immediately and all bond money forfeited. A Minut decibel monitor is installed at the property.

Weddings or events of any kind are not permitted and we do not hold council approval for these activities. This includes pre/post wedding events or gatherings.

Our maximum occupancy onsite at any time is 12 guests (total including adults and children) - bringing additional guests onto the property is a breach of our house rules.

PETS / ANIMALS
Not permitted, no exceptions.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Where the property is not left in a respectful manner, particularly with regards to soiled linen, garbage/recycling, BBQ cleaning, or items are found to be missing/broken, additional charges will apply.

POOL
The pool is not heated and is covered between May and mid September.

LINEN
All bedding linen and bath towels are provided. During the warmer months guests are requested to bring their own pool towels as these are not provided.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Earlier check-in / late check-out can be requested and will be provided where available. Note that during School Holidays and other peak periods or where we have back-to-back bookings, we generally do not have flexibility to amend check-in / check-out times.

FIREPLACE / FIRE PIT
A starting supply of firewood is provided. Once depleted, additional firewood will need to be sourced by guests at their expense.

WEEKEND STAYS
Weekend bookings must include Friday and Saturday night.
