Nope! We left early...
After dinner on the evening we arrived, we were greeted with a mouse in kitchen. We were able to track the mouse to the bedroom on the main level of the main house by locating a large mass of rat feces. I immediately contacted the property manager and was sent to an answering service. I continued to call them as well as VRBO for the next 3 hours with NO RESPONSE. At 11am on Saturday, without notice, a maintenance man showed up at the property to look around. While he was there we also had him fix a smoke detector and a light that was not working.
Later that afternoon I had to contact them back to see if they were able to locate and take care of the mouse. Still NO RESONSE from them. I was told they had called pest control and they had no answer for me. At this point we realized the hot water in the main house had gone out so I called them back AGAIN...
I have 2 small children that refused to sleep in the house with a mouse so we had 7 people in 2 queen beds in the separate living area over the garage for 2 nights.
By Saturday night at 9 pm, I had made several phone calls to the management company of which NONE were returned to take care of a mouse, smoke detector, light and the hot water heater.
After we left a day early, they contacted us for a small refund. Then proceeded to argue with me for 3 weeks stating they took care of the problems when requested... HAHA. They refused to accept that I made the majority of my calls on Friday night, although they knew to send someone out on Saturday morning prior to me calling again on Saturday evening. I provided them with pictures and call logs from my phone but they would not admit they were in the wrong.
Our last communication was them letting me know they found damage that they were pinning on us (3 weeks after we left). I provided them with pictures of the damaged basketball hoop with a timestamp of the day we arrived of which they again refused to accept. They also mentioned we ripped the grill cover... we never touch/used the grill. We never received the refund they originally offered.
The cabin itself is not that bad, although the pictures make it look much better than it is. BUT I sure hope you don't have to call or deal with customer service.
