About this property

This little jewel is a mile from downtown Fredericksburg perched on the hill side. It was built in 2005 and gives you the feeling of Italy at its best.. Built in San Micheal style which ironically seems a perfect fit for the wine trail.. This home is so comfortable 2 nights might not be enough.
The Villa has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master is on the main floor and 2 guest rooms are upstairs. It sleeps 8 very comfortable however we have added 2 more twins in the hall upstairs if you decided you need it to sleep 10. Enjoy our Texas / Italian style design throughout. Wake up and have coffee on the veranda overlooking the hill country or snuggle up to a fire in the living room. Close enough to town you can be there in 3 minutes but far enough away to see all the stars. Call and get a private wine tour and they will pick you up from the house. Please note we do not charge per person it's a flat fee however we only hold 10. I should also note there are stairs so if your guest are elderly make sure they can walk upstairs or uphill as the back door leads straight to the main floor.

A very charming house

Peaceful getaway

The house was very unique. Tucked away in a neighborhood just minutes from town. Would definitely rent again if the house was available. The deck was perfect nights by the fire. My wife and I enjoyed drinking coffee each morning from the balcony. Just a nice relaxing getaway.

Spring Break Stay

Wonderful house for my family of 6 and dog. Lots of areas inside and outside to gather together or find a private place to read. I especially loved the outside patio and the balcony off the kitchen. The only negative for me was the proximity of a large electric station and cell tower.

Ramona was amazing at answering all of our questions. She responded right away with questions regarding Fredericksburg. Her home was beautiful! We would definitely visit again.

This Texas girl loves taking creepy old houses and making them something beautiful. My goal is design a place that makes you say"WOW I want to look around and see more".
I currently live in Galveston where I've converted several late 1800 homes back to beautiful places to live. My recent project is a 1907 Eight plex converted back to the original main house and with a four plex located behind it. If Fredricksburg is booked, visit VRBO 769858 to rent in Galveston. The Blue Lagoon was built in 1887 with the last 20 inch drop down tile ceilings on the island!!! I love unique spaces and I think you will too!

Why they chose this property

As an designer and investor you know when its the right house, I found this little jewel and never turned back. We had a few changes but in the end she came out perfect.
It's just comfy and cozy!

What makes this property unique

I call this my Italian farm as every morning here...I feel like its the place I want to be! Deer run out front and the cutest donkey and peacocks are just a walk up the street. While this house doesn't not have a dishwasher it does have wireless and satellite. The views are very calming and its a minute from town.
